Rainbow Six Siege X Dual Front Mode Explained

Rainbow Six Siege X: Dual Front Guide

Dual Front is Rainbow Six Siege X's new permanent game mode. It relies on coordination and quick thinking. If you want to try out the new game mode or want to know how to win the new game mode, here's a guide to the rules of the game and how to keep up in competitive play.

How to Play Dual Front

Dual Front is a 6v6 game mode where teams play both attack and defense simultaneously on a large map. The teams are divided into two lanes: Defensive and Offensive. The map features a central area known as the neutral zone, where the two lanes intersect.

To win the match, players must navigate through the enemy's zone, accomplish objectives, and protect their area from the enemy.

In the Offensive Lane, the team needs to reach the enemy's area, plant the Sabotage Kit, and then defend it until it detonates.

For the Defensive Lane, the team also has the same objective; they'll need to reach the enemy area and plant the Sabotage Kit until it detonates.

Once a Sabotage Kit is detonated, the team has access to the second floor, where the final objective is to Sabotage the HQ to win the match.

The Neutral Zone on the map allows players to reposition and flank. The zone has side objectives, such as hostage extractions, that will benefit the whole team if accomplished. Both teams will attempt to reach the second floor and secure a win. Luckily, the game mode has unlimited respawns, and players can switch operators after each death.

How to Win Dual Front

To win in Dual Front, players must take advantage of the game's mechanics. Here's a guide on techniques that can help you win your next Dual Front matches.

  • Switch between lanes: Be active in switching lanes to assist your team.
  • Switch to other operators: Since there are unlimited respawns, counter your enemies by using a different operator's utilities.
  • Mix your operator switches: The game relies on players to switch between offensive and defensive roles after each death.
  • Take advantage of the neutral zone: Use the neutral zone to flank, ambush, or reposition to help your team.
  • Complete Side Objectives: Completing the Side Objectives will give your team buffs that can help your main objective.
  • Actively Defend: Always be on the lookout and refresh traps; maintain a defensive posture at all times to protect your area.
  • Utilize Environmental Hazards: Throw off the enemy by shooting red gas pipes or creating explosions.
  • Always listen to your surroundings: Be aware of gunfire, breaches, and footsteps to prepare for enemy attacks or movement.

Using the guide can help you better understand Dual Front and also be at the top of your game.
