With the launch of Secrets of the Atlas, Path of Exile is releasing a new version of Kirac's Vault Pass. It will offer many rewards to players participating in the Challenge Leagues. Here's everything you need to know about the Mercenaries Edition of Kirac's Vault Pass in Path of Exile.
What is Kirac's Vault Pass
Kirac's Vault Pass is a reward system connected to the Atlas progression in Path of Exile. When players complete bonus objectives on their Atlas, they'll unlock different rewards. This version of the Vault Pass focuses on the Mercenaries Challenge League. The Pass offers a free and premium track, but players in Ruthless Modes and Private Leagues can't access the Pass.
The Pass encourages players to explore and gives them rewards for participating in any Mercenary League. Their Atlas progress will also determine what rewards they can unlock. However, the Vault Pass is not available for Standard League players, as their Atlas completion could instantly unlock all rewards.
Kirac's Vault Pass Rewards
Kirac's Vault Pass has two tracks: Free and Premium. Each track will provide players with in-game items they can use.
Here are all the in-game items you can unlock by completing sets of map bonus objectives in the Free Track. You can earn the rewards by completing up to 115 Atlas bonus objectives across your league progression.
- A Primordial Key
- Scouting Reports
- Scarabs
- A Delirium Map
Here are all the in-game items you can unlock in Premium Track. You can unlock the track by purchasing it with 300 points. You'll still have to complete the Atlas Challenges to unlock them.
- The Archon of the Atlas Armour Set
- Multiple Mystery Boxes
These cosmetics are purely visual and don't provide any gameplay advantages. Unlike many other systems, you cannot pay extra to unlock unearned rewards, but each item must be obtained through gameplay.
How to Access and Claim Your Rewards
Here's how you can access your rewards from the Vault Pass.
- Open the Atlas screen and click the Kirac's Vault Pass icon in the top left corner.
- From there, you can view your progress, buy the premium pass, and travel to Kirac's Vault.
Once you've completed enough Atlas objectives to unlock a reward, a corresponding chamber in Kirac's Vault becomes available. Travel there via the Vault Pass screen to claim your rewards:
- Items drop on the ground
- Cosmetics are automatically stored in your microtransaction stash
There's no need to rush; the rewards unlock retroactively. Whether you buy the Pass at the start or near the end of the league, all your completed objectives count toward rewards.
