OSRS Hespori Guide

hespori guide osrs

Hespori is one of the Sporadic Bosses in Old School RuneScape, besides Obor, Bryophyta, Skotizo, and the Mimic. This means you won’t be able to encounter him often.

To be able to fight Hespori, you will first need to plant a Hespori seed and wait for it to grow. Once it’s grown, you will enter an instance and fight Hespori. Afterward, you must harvest Hespori for a good chunk of Farming XP.

While there is no requirement for obtaining the Hespori seed, to get access to the Farming guild part where Hespori is located, you will need Farming level 65, and you will also need decent combat stats and gear for the fight itself.

OSRS Hespori Seed

The first step to kill Hespori is to obtain Hespori seeds. Since Hespori seeds are not tradeable, you will need to obtain them through farming since the only method to obtain them is from various patches. The best way to obtain a Hespori seed is from Giant seaweeds since their growing time is relatively short. Otherwise, you should get plenty from the hardwood tree patches on Fossil Island by planting Teak or Mahogany. You’ll get a 1 in 10 chance to obtain one from these patches.

Trees will give you a high likelihood of obtaining a Hespori seed, but doing many her runs will also occasionally reward you with Hespori seeds.

OSRS Best Way to Get Hespori Seeds

Best Way to Get Hespori Seeds

An alternative way to obtain Hespori seeds is by fulfilling contracts within the farming guild. To do this, you must speak to guild master Jane and ask her for a contract. There are 3 types of contracts locked behind your farming level.

  • Level 45 – easy contract
  • Level 65 – intermediate contract
  • Level 85 – hard contract

The harder the contract, the more likely you’ll receive a Hespori seed from the rewarded seed pack. To complete a contract, you must plant the assigned plant and then harvest it or check its health. You can also plant ahead.

Hespori Patch OSRS

After you obtain a Hespori seed, you will need a minimum level of 65 Farming to access the West wing of the farming guild and gain access to the Hespori patch.

OSRS Hespori Strategy

You can kill Hespori with either range or melee. Since he attacks with range and magic, remember to pray protect from magic when fighting him with melee and pray protect from range when fighting him with range.

OSRS Hespori Fight

When you begin the fight, Hespori is not vulnerable to any type of damage since his four flowers will be open. While the flowers are open, he is invulnerable to any sort of damage. You will need first to close the four surrounding flowers by hitting them. Afterward, you can start hitting Hespori, but he will open the small plants two more times once he reaches 66 percent of his health and when he reaches 33 percent. Unless you use a form of poison immunity, he will also poison you.

How to Kill Hespori OSRS

How to Kill Hespori

Enter the Hespori room, drink your combat-boosting pots, and activate protect from magic and piety. Ensure you have the blowpipe or darts equipped and on long-range, and click on Hespori to initiate the fight.

Summon your thrall and click on the four small flowers, then swap to your spec weapon and spec Hespori. Swap to your slash weapon and start attacking Hespori until he reopens his flowers at 66 percent health.

Swap to your range weapons and attack the flowers, then attack Hespori again. Keep an eye on the game chat and spam click whenever Hespori entangles you in his vines to break free and resume attacking him until his health drops below 33 percent.

Swap to your range weapon again and kill the flowers. When needed, you should summon another thrall. Keep attacking Hespori until he is dead, and make sure to eat food if needed or sip a prayer pot dose.

Once you’re done killing him, click on the dead Hespori again to harvest him and get your Farming XP reward alongside your loot.

OSRS Hespori Pet

While there is no Hespori pet similar to how other bosses have their own pet, there is a high likelihood you can obtain the farming pet, Tangleroot, from Hespori. Since the chances scale with your farming level, there are between 1 in 5375 and 1 in 4525 chances to obtain Tangleroot from Hespori.
