Warbonds are an important aspect of Helldivers 2; they contain new weapons, armors, and sometimes even brand new Stratagems. Aside from new playable items, these Warbonds also contain other small rewards and cosmetics to fit their theme. They are purchased with Supercredits, which can be earned in-game, albeit at a much slower rate than buying them with real-world money. Tier List Mechanics
S Tier: One of the best Warbonds available with several must-have items; buy these first.
A Tier: Great options to purchase when you have spare Supercredits; no need to rush these.
B Tier: Useful for specific scenarios and encounters, niche uses in general but still helpful.
C Tier: Limited use for its contents; can skip or buy for drip.
D Tier: Don't buy it for the meta, buy for the drip.

S Tier Ranking Explained
Democratic Detonation
Democratic Detonation is an easy S-tier; almost every weapon and loadout item is the best-in-slot item or close to it. The R-36 Eruptor is ludicrously overpowered and amazing regardless of the enemy you are facing. Accompanying it would be the CB-9 Exploding Crossbow, an amazing secondary option for taking out objectives and hordes of enemies. Finally, the Warbond comes with 2 armor sets with some of the best armor passives: Engineering Kit and Fortified.
Control Group
Control Group lands itself S-tier because of 1 item on it, the famous and widely beloved Lift 182 Warp Pack. Arguably the single best backpack item, this lets you maneuver all over the map with ease. You can phase through doors holding Supercredits, kill enemies by warping through them, and easily reposition out of danger.
Castellan’s Creed
Castellan’s Creed is the Warhammer 40K collab Warbond that the community has been begging for. The P/40-K Bolt Pistol is an amazing sidearm capable of dealing with heavy armor and even has explosive shots. But the true standout of this Warbond is the 40-K Meltagun. This support weapon is too good at eliminating extremely heavily armored enemies. Targets like Bile Titans and Shredder Tanks can be taken out in 1 or 2 shots; the only real downside is the extremely limited range. Easily an S-tier Warbond for its variety.
Siege Breakers
Listing Siege Breakers as S-tier is a weird choice for many. While the weapons listed are not the most practical or effective, it goes really well with other S-tier Warbonds. The CQC-20 Breaching Hammer is an amazing and extremely fun melee weapon. The GL-28 Belt-Fed Grenade Launcher is amazing at clearing hordes and even dealing with heavily armored enemies.
Servants of Freedom
Servants of Freedom is a fan-favorite choice for S tier thanks to the Portable Hellbomb. While the stratagem is extremely fun to play with, the real star of the show is the GP-20 Ultimatum. It's easily capable of taking down any enemy in the game thanks to having level 6 penetration, which for a sidearm is absolutely ridiculous.

Chemical Agents
Chemical Agents is a great addition to any Helldivers' arsenal. Its best item on offer is the AX/TX 13 Dog Breath, capable of melting smaller enemies and stun locking much larger ones.
Entrenched Division
Entrenched Division offers a wide variety of weapons and stratagems to expand your arsenal. It has an amazing SMG and Flamethrower combo in the SMG/FLAM-34 Stoker. The B/FLAM-80 Cremator is arguably the best fire weapon in the game, and the A/GM-17 Gas Mortar is a great addition to any diver's arsenal.
Cutting Edge
Cutting Edge is focused on laser weapons. If these weapons are your favorite, then this warbond is easily a must-have.
Polar Patriots
Polar Patriots is here for 1 reason: the PLAS-101 Purifier. An extremely versatile weapon, it can deal with hordes and medium-armor enemies without any problem. It is one of the best weapons against Automatons and also effective against the Illuminate.
Steeled Veterans
Steeled Veterans is the first premium warbond; despite power creep, it is still one of the best to purchase. AR-23 Liberator Concussive is a stun-lock machine, extremely valuable to Terminid players. For Automaton players, the JAR-5 Dominator is a must-have weapon for your arsenal. With medium armor penetration and explosive rounds, it can also stun-lock enemies if not destroy them entirely.
Urban Legends
Urban Legends is a great pick-up for those who want more variety for their stratagems. The E/AT 12 Anti-tank Emplacement is a must-have stratagem, amazing on all fronts, while the A/FLAM 40 Sentry is one of the best sentry stratagems.
