Poaching in FF Tactics rewards you with rare items not normally found in most missions, but requires a Thief with the Poach ability. Some items earned from poaching are extremely rare, requiring you to defeat certain monsters in different areas of Ivalice. This guide will show you the different items you can get by Poaching and where you can get them.
How To Poach Monsters
To take part in poaching, you will need a Thief in your party with the Poach ability. Next, you must enter a Random Battle that spawns monsters. You can target farm certain monsters as they spawn in specific regions within Ivalice. Once you enter battle, make sure your Thief lands the killing blow on a monster. This puts the monster’s pelt into your inventory.
Turning Poached Monsters into Items
You can turn in Poached monsters within the Poacher’s Den. This shop can only be found in Dorter, Warjilis, and Sal Ghidos. Turning in a monster’s pelt to the Poacher’s Den unlocks new items in their inventory, which are sold for a discounted price.
