All Wuchang Fallen Feathers Weapon Classes Guide

There are over 5 weapon classes in Wuchang Fallen Feathers to choose from: Longsword, Spear, One Handed Sword, Dual Blades, and Axe. Each archetype offers a unique playstyle that no other weapon offers, with special active and passive mechanics to make combat different. This guide will talk about how each weapon class works and what its strengths and weaknesses are.

Longsword

  • Primary stats: Strength and Agility

Longswords have a simple and easy-to-pick-up moveset and have a good amount of range with their attacks. It also has an implicit bonus Skyborn Might generation rate with each hit, making it a great starting weapon class for you when you first start out. This weapon class also has the ability to guard and parry attacks, turning your defense into an opportunity for offense.

Spear

  • Primary stats: Agility and Strength

Spears have the longest weapon reach in the game and are also fairly mobile, as many of their basic light and heavy attacks make Wuchang move forward and backward. Spears incentivize you to use your skills often, as this class generates a lot of stacks called Boldheart when using basic attacks, which can be converted into Skyborn Might. This class also lets you refund Skyborn Might after using an ability, making the Spear a powerful choice.

One-Handed Sword

  • Primary stat: Magic and Agility

While the One-Handed Sword has low range compared to the Spear and Longsword, it makes up for it with its special passive that lets you generate Skyborn Might passively. This makes the One-Handed Sword an excellent choice for caster builds, especially with its high scaling with Magic. Since you can use two weapons in Wucheng: Fallen Feathers, equipping the One-Handed Sword can let you create a hybrid Magic / Strength or Agility build.

Dual Blades

  • Primary stat: Agility and Strength

Dual Blades have the shortest reach in the game, but have the fastest attack speed. Its basic combo has multiple strikes, dealing high DPS up close. It also takes advantage of a mechanic called Clash, where certain attacks can parry incoming damage, giving you more time to extend your combos without fear of reprisal. It also has passives that let you increase your attack speed, further increasing your DPS.

Axe

  • Primary stat: Endurance and Vitality

This class has the slowest attacks in the game, but rewards persistent players with high damage per hit. Axes have a unique charge-up and timing mechanic where the longer you hold your attack, the stronger it becomes. Timing your attack input as the animation ends will allow you to attack faster, which encourages you to not mash your attacks, spacing them out instead. This is a fairly advanced weapon to use, but it is ultimately the most powerful weapon class if mastered.
