GTA Online has a plethora of missions for you to play. Missions give you a story to sift through and things to do in the online realm of the franchise. Ever since its release, GTA Online has always been a chaotic game. There's never a dull moment, whether it’s getting trolled on or experiencing random deaths.

Now that we have the latest DLC update, Drug Wars has brought new cars, characters, and problems to Blaine County and Los Santos. The Los Santos Drug Wars DLC is massive, bringing many missions to GTA Online. You can even venture into a brand-new business that can help you earn millions of GTA money in no time. Let’s go over the various missions that the update will bring.

What’s the Los Santos Drug Wars All About?

The latest Lost Santos Drug Wars DLC starts with a call from Nervous Ron. After you respond to his call, the game will immediately drag your character into the world of Dax, where you can get tons of GTA 5 money as a reward. With his team of hooligans, you must help them on their quest to establish themselves as the best DRG suppliers in the city.

The DLC’s main story is split into two halves, with other future content drip-fed into GTA Online in the next few weeks after the update’s release. Because of that, knowing what you’re getting into can be pretty confusing once you respond to Ron’s call.

A Walkthrough of the Story Missions

GTA Online’s Los Santos Drug Wars DLC has six main story missions for you to partake in:

  • First Dose: Welcome to the Troupe
  • First Dose: Designated Driver
  • First Dose: Fatal Incursion
  • First Dose: Uncontrolled Substance
  • First Dose: Make War Not Love
  • First Dose: Off the Rails

Welcome to the Troupe

In Welcome to the Troupe, you’ll be greeted with an intro cutscene that takes you into a drug den where people can be seen partying and drinking alcohol. Be prepared, though, because the game will immediately put you into combat after that. You’ll have to take out the incoming waves of gang members from Lost MC Biker. We recommend taking them out while taking cover from all sides of the roof. If there are hordes of them, you can use explosives to bring their lives to an end. The mission isn’t nail-bitingly tricky, so you should be able to complete it quickly.

After you’ve eliminated all of the enemies, talk to Dax—-the main character of the DLC. He’ll join you in future First Dose missions. Dax will then ask you for a favor to recover his van, Journey. He said he lost Journey from the Lost Biker MC gang and wants you to take the vehicle back from them. To retrieve Journey, leave the rooftop and head for the boat near the dock. You can see the icon of the boat through the in-game map. Use the boat to get across the lake, infiltrate Lost Biker MC’s hideout, and eliminate all the enemies to recover Dax’s van.

When you finally have Journey, drive back to the bar and pick Dax up. You’ll need to go to an abandoned warehouse in Los Santos after this, ultimately becoming headquarters—known as The Freakshop—for all your Acid Lab business activities.

Designated Driver

Once you’ve finished Welcome to the Troupe, you can do the other Los Santos Drug Wars missions by finding the ‘D’ location on your map. For the second mission, Designated Driver, you must go to the Jetsam Terminal and steal a truck cab. Thankfully, there are plenty of truck cabs around the terminal, so just approach the trucks to take one of them.

After entering the truck cab, go to the front of the Jetsam Terminal and collect party supplies. Collecting the supplies is a bit complicated since you have to reverse into the trailer to attach it to the truck cab, but you’ll get the hang of it after a few tries. Deliver the supplies to The Freakshop, but note that once you exit the terminal, you’ll be greeted by several Lost Biker MC gang members.

When the gang members start shooting, your supplies will inevitably get caught on fire, so you’ll have to detach the truck cab from the trailer before your supplies explode. You can see a health bar on the bottom-right corner of the screen; when the bar drops to zero, the supplies explode, and the mission will fail. After detaching the trailer, you must get revenge on the gang members by infiltrating their clubhouse. Make your way there and eliminate all enemies before entering the house.

When you’re in, eliminate the remaining enemies in the vicinity and look for their plans. You can locate the documents by looking at a pinboard on one of the walls. Take a photo of their plans and look for a duffel bag in the clubhouse. You’ll use the bag to get the drugs on the table inside. Once you leave the clubhouse, you’ll have to fight an incoming swarm of Lost Biker MC gang members again to deliver the drugs to The Freakshop.

Fatal Incursion

Fatal Incursion is all about destroying property. For starters, make your way to the Stab City. Destroy Lost Biker MC’s property includes vans, bikes, oil tanks, and drugs. Your objective is to fill up the property destruction meter (which can be seen at the bottom-right corner of the screen). The more property you destroy, the more the meter fills up. Since most of the property has a flammable container near them, you can just shoot those to cause an explosion. You can also use your own explosives, such as sticky bombs, grenades, and RPGs.

When that’s done, go to Millar’s Fishery to loot some drugs. The drugs aren’t hidden, and they’ll flash right in front of you, which makes locating them that much easier. But just in case you need some assistance in finding them, here’s a rundown of all the drug locations in Millar’s Fishery:

  • Drug 1: On the table outside a small blue house.
  • Drug 2 & 3: On a shelf inside a large warehouse directly in front of the small blue house.
  • Drug 4 & 5: Inside a small lab (directly ahead of you before entering Millar’s Fishery). Walk past the small blue house and the large warehouse to get to another huge building. You’ll see the sign “Millar’s Boat Shop.” Note that this is a secret lab; you’ll have to enter through the backdoor. Be prepared to shoot, as there are gang members inside.
  • Drug 6 & 7: Upon exiting the secret lab through the backdoor, go to the left to get two more drug items near the parked van. One will be on a rolling table, while the other will be on a shelf.
  • Drug 8: Before continuing the path out of Millar’s Fishery, turn right to find a red lifeboat with a drug package.
  • Drug 9 & 10: Make your way to the docks by backtracking where you collected drugs 6 and 7. Once you go down the platform, you’ll find two more drug packages on a wooden crate.

Once that’s over, you’ll find a Dodo plane at the docks, which you can use to fly to The Freakshop and complete the mission.

Uncontrolled Substance

Uncontrolled Substance is the most straightforward mission in the DLC; all you have to do is sit back and experience a “trip” your character will go through. You’ll still have to control your character in the middle of it, but it’s a linear path, and you only have to follow whatever Dax asks you during the mission.

Make War Not Love

Before starting this mission, we suggest you stock up on some armor and ammo because you’ll be experiencing some heavy combat. First, you must destroy every piece of equipment inside the tents at the Hippy Camp. All of the tens are marked on the mini-map. You can use the flammable containers inside the tents to make things go boom, but if there aren’t any, you can use your own explosives.

Then, when everything’s destroyed, enter one of the hippy vans at the site. Upon doing so, the location of three delivery vans will pop up on your map. Drive to the delivery vans and destroy them. After that, you’ll be tasked to go to the Altruist Camp, where you must destroy three more vans. When you get to the camp, you’ll immediately notice that many hippies heavily guard it. Eliminate them to destroy the vans. Here are the locations of the said vans:

  • Van 1: Near the main camp gate to your right.
  • Van 2: Near the water tank tower and on an elevated platform.
  • Van 3: In front of a wide chimney sticking out of the building. This is deep into the camp.

After destroying the vans, an attack chopper will spawn. Once you take it out, you’ve completed the mission.

Off the Rails

Like Make War Not Love, Off the Rails is a combat-heavy mission, so stock up on some armor and ammo. Go to Humane Labs; go in guns blazing or sneak inside. The stealth route is better since you’ll finish the mission quicker. Upon entering, equip suppressed weapons only and avoid being sighted by enemies.

Take out the security guard at the entrance with a headshot and destroy the security camera at the corner of the building to avoid being detected. Then, go to the parking lot on the left side and continue moving forward from there. You’ll see some stairs and a guard standing behind them; remove the guard and go up the stairs.

When you’re at the top, you’ll find a stationary guard and a patrolling guard. To avoid sounding any alarms, wait for the patrolling guard to go ahead and remove the stationary guard first. Move up, and you’ll see another guard standing by the keypad. You’ll need to gain access to the keypad to unlock the door, so take him out using your suppressed weapon. Before approaching the keypad, shoot the security camera directly above it first.

After hacking the keypad and entering the facility, take out more security cameras and guards to the loading bay. You’ll be tasked with searching the loading bay for intel, so you need to find the inventory manifest and take a photo of it. There are two possible locations for the inventory manifests. One is next to a wooden crate and cardboard; the other is on the wall to your right after entering the doorway. Take the picture and send it to Dax, then you must search the wooden crates to collect chemicals. You’ll have to collect five of them.

Once you’ve collected all five chemicals, exit the area by shooting the power box to open the shutters. You can use a vehicle outside to get to the next location. Make your way to the train switching station before the train with chemicals on board reaches it. To get there, go through the train tracks and follow them to reach your destination. When you’re there, head inside and pull the lever to change the tracks. This will lead the train to crash.

For your next objective, you’ll need to get a cutting saw; you can get that from a worker’s tool bag. If you drive further ahead, you’ll find two workers standing near a tool bag—eliminate them to steal the cutting saw. You’ll need to make your way to the crash site of the train and open the containers using the saw. There will be enemies here, so take precautions. If there’s a chemical inside the containers, collect it. You’ll need to collect five chemicals. Once you have all of them, steal a 6x6 truck from the end of the crash site and drive back to The Freakshop. Congrats, you’ve completed the mission!

Perks of Completing the Los Santos Drug Wars DLC

The main perk of completing the Los Santos Drug Wars DLC is gaining access to The Acid Lab, where you can manufacture Acid to sell for tons of GTA money. You’ll need to keep your stock up by doing small missions to find materials.

Once you've completed the update, you can repeat all missions using your account. Just go to the ‘D’ marker on your map to do so.
