ESO Best Material Farming Spots

If you want to try your hand at gathering all the materials on your own, here are the ESO best material farming spots. Take note that players are quite reluctant to give their personal favorite spots. Competition has the unfortunate effect of lessening the yield of the locations. These are the obvious farming spots if you don’t mind racing to beat other players.

You can discover or find your own routes that could span many locations. Otherwise, you can log in an alt and collect Skyshards or Lorebooks as you collect materials. You can also turn off the grass or install an addon (PC only) so you can see the nodes better.

Beginner’s Areas

While each area has roughly the same amount of resource nodes, these areas are smaller. That makes the nodes feel denser since there’s only so much space they can be spread over. All the players in these areas will also push the regeneration for the resources a little faster. Your only problem is that the competition to get to these materials will be fiercer as well.

Davon’s Watch

It’s a popular area for farming as well. That makes this location a bit similar to the above, except a little bigger. You’ll find it easy to spot nodes here, especially around Stonefalls.

Craglorn

A little less popular than the two above, the area gives a good variety of resource nodes to harvest. The location also gives the chance to encounter Fortified or Potent Nirncrux materials as you go. Selling these rare ingredients can give you a small fortune.

Any of these three locations are a source of good materials, such as ESO Corn Flower, ESO Columbine, and ESO Mountain Flowers. These three alchemic ingredients are quite common, but players know their value. That’s why even if they’re common they’re hard to find and farm.

Other ESO Materials That Aren’t From Nodes

Crafting materials that don’t come from nodes also exist. An example would be ESO Perfect Roe, a material from processing fish. There’s also ESO Dreugh Wax, which may come from nodes, but has a different source in disassembled gear. To farm these materials, you’ll need to do other activities (i.e. fishing, disassembling). In that way, farming these are a little more complicated than harvesting nodes.
