EA FC 25’s Ultimate Team mode is shaping up to be very fun, with players creating their own custom teams and competing in Rush matches. Many in-game players can be bought in the marketplace using FC coins or opening certain packs for a chance to roll for the best players. Some of the absolute best in the game are part of different editions, such as the Icon and Hero series. It can be tough to parse through who the best players for each series is. But don’t you worry, in this guide, we’ll cover all the best players and how to get them.
Obtaining Icon and Hero Players
In EA FC 25, gaining FC Coins is key for stocking up your roster with the best players in the game. Currently, there are two different methods for obtaining Icons and Heroes:
- Opening Premium Gold and Ultimate Packs
- Buying them on the market
- Winning championships
However, you can sell the card you get from opening packs into the market for profit. Currently, opening a card pack is cheaper than buying the rarer cards and will have some guarantees to what type you’ll get. While some give out managers or items, many of the pricier card packs, like the Premium Gold and Ultimate versions, will give out Icons and Heroes.
Selling players with an overall rating of 85+ is a reliable way of earning enough coins to buy a specific Icon or Hero of your choice. However, if that’s not your style, you can always try your luck with the card packs. An alternative way to get a card pack is by winning championships consistently.
