However, some jobs are faster in terms of leveling and clear speed and are more efficient in dealing with end-game content. We’re looking at classes that perform well in leveling, boss farming, and pits. Several classes were deeply affected by the nerfs, especially those that use Overpowered. Spiritborn
Spiritborn is now considered the strongest this season. It excels greatly on all fronts and will outperform other classes in almost all content areas. The best builds for this class are those that use Thorn setups, and Rake and Quill Volley take the spotlight.
Sorcerer
Sorcerer quickly climbed the ladder this season because they significantly outperformed most classes in most content, except for Pits. Hydra and Chain Lightning are the best builds to use right now for virtually any type of activity. Other setups like Meteor and Ice Shards also received some great buffs. In general, more builds became more viable for this class, which is why it’s on the top right now.
Rogue
Rogue remains one of the strongest classes in Diablo 4. It has great burst and DPS builds that excel in speed farming and boss farming. Dance of Knives becomes the best build for leveling with this class. Meanwhile, Death Trap, Reign of Arrows, and Twisting Blades remain the Rogue’s best builds.
Necromancer
Necro dropped from the spotlight because it’s one of the classes that relied on Overpowered, so the nerf affected it deeply. While it’s still a great starting class, it no longer clears mobs as quickly as others. They have less burst damage, and they’re reliance on minions focuses more on single-target DPS. Any build with Blood Surge would be the best one for this class.
Druid
Druids maintain their status as neither the best nor the worst class. It’s decent throughout, and several builds are available for us to use. Pulverize and companion setups are the most ideal for Druid players.
Barbarian
The Barbarian suffered the most, especially after the Overpowered effect. Several of the class’s best build uses Overpowered, so they became less viable after the nerfs. There are now a minimal number of builds that will genuinely make the Barbarian shine.
