The Riven Tides update for ARC Raiders has got some new items for you to play with, like the Powered Descender, Crash Mat, White Flag, and Dockmaster’s Detector, which will make your runs more interesting. You may be wondering where you can find these items, which is why this guide will show you how and where to get them.
Epic Gadget: Powered Descender
The Powered Descender is a handy item for slowing down your descent when falling from a great height. Be careful when using it, as activating it while mid-air will cause you to crash down hard. For best results, use it the moment you jump off a ledge to maintain a slow fall.
You can find the blueprint in random containers around Riven Tides, with a better chance to spawn at the Hotel Panorama Azzurro and Port Authority Building PoI.
Uncommon Throwable: Crash Mat
Crash Mats are deployable items that can be thrown to create a soft cushion that breaks your fall and prevents fall damage. It also gives you a quicker recovery animation after falling compared to the hard landing recovery.
Like the Powered Descender, the Crash Mats consumable and blueprint can be found in containers exclusive to Riven Tides, with a slightly higher chance of appearing in red lockers.
Common Deployable: White Flag
When spamming “Don’t shoot!” isn't enough, the White Flag item will really get the message across that you’re friendly to other players. The blueprint for it can appear in the drawers inside Hotel Panorama Azzurro.
Common Gadget: Dockmaster’s Detector
This item is an important part of the Beachcombing map event, serving as a metal detector to find loot on the beaches of Riven Tides. During this event, you can find the Dockmaster's Detector in breachable crates near the Seabed. You can also get one as a reward for completing the Shoring Up The Defenses quest and the first step of the new Avian Alarm Project.
Turbine Compressor
This Epic component is required to craft the Powered Descender. You can only find this item from the new ARC Turbine boss and drops from the thruster part of its lootable corpse.
