Venator vs Bobcat
From a pure PvP point of view, disregarding the cost to manufacture and apply mods. The Bobcat takes the slot of the main primary weapon. The Bobcat excels in close-range encounters thanks to its overwhelming fire rate. However, in most cases, players won't have immediate access to this weapon after the expedition. The Ventator, on the other hand, is much more accessible, easier to upgrade, and cheaper to repair. Overall, the Venator performs better in a wider set of circumstances compared to the Bobcat. It can hit targets at greater ranges and has better ARC armor penetration.
Combat MK.3 or Looting MK.2
The choice of augmentation ultimately comes down to the player's preferences and goals. If the player chooses to go for high-risk engagements or seek PvP, Combat MK.3 is a no-brainer. Players are granted 4 quick-use slots and 2 utility slots to maximize grenade and barrier combos. If the player chooses to have a more flexible playstyle, Looting MK.2 is a good budget option for general gameplay.
Quick Use Slots
Since PvP can get chaotic, smoke grenades are a must-have for any run. Items that can put some distance between you and your enemies are a must-have. As such, Barricade Kits are invaluable to players. Lastly, the Jolt Mine helps with kiting and baiting enemy raiders, where you can easily take them out thanks to the lengthy stun.
