Mists of Pandaria is bringing back one of our favorite features in World of Warcraft. Battle-pets are making their return, so it’s time for our WoW Classic players to prepare themselves as they hunt for more battle-pets to add to their accounts. These critters are scattered throughout the regions of Azeroth, so you’ll need to find them in specific locations at certain times and seasons.
How to Catch Wild Battle Pets
You’ll need to reduce the HP of the battle-pet to a certain threshold and use a trap to capture it. The Health requirement depends on what type of item you’re using: Trap, Strong Trap, or Pristine Trap. Ideally, use any Battle-Pet that will survive the encounter to lower the HP of your target. The Terrible Turnip is the best choice for this due to its Weakning Blow ability.
All Wild Battle-Pets and Where to Get Them
Several battle pets aren’t present in WoW Classic Mists of Pandaria because either they were part of exclusive events or they’re from the Blizzard store. Otherwise, most of the critters are available for capture. However, some of them received massive nerfs, so they may not function as they did in WoW Retail.
