How To Get Armory Data
There are 3 ways to get Armory Data in the game: Operation Missions, Class Trials, and Hidden Servo-Skulls.
Operation Missions
Operation Missions are going to be the player’s main source of Armory Data in the game. Once players complete an Operation, they’ll be awarded Armory Data. The quality of data a player will receive depends on the difficulty of the Operation, with there being three types of rarity: Green, Purple, and Orange. The higher the difficulty of the mission, the more rare the reward. If players are playing in the Minimal and Average difficulty tiers in Operations, they’ll receive Green Armory Data used for Master-Crafted tier weapons. Those who’re in Operation Missions in the Substantial Difficulty tier will receive Purple Armory Data used for Artificer tier weapons. Finally, if players want to play in the Ruthless Difficulty, they’ll receive Orange Armory Data which will allow them to unlock Relic Tier Weapons.
Class Trials
Another way to get Armory Data is through completing Class Trials. They act as a tutorial on how to play a class the player has chosen. Players can get 3 Green Armory Data per class. To access the Class Trials, go to the Armory Hall and look for an icon that says “Trial.” If players collect all the Armory Data from the Class Trials, they’ll receive 18 Green Armor Data.
Hidden Servo-Skull
During each Operation Mission, there’ll be a hidden Servo-Skull found in the side areas. If players interact with the Servo-Skull, they’ll receive an Armory Data. If the player completes the mission, they’ll also get a bonus Armory Data.
How To Use Armory Data
Armory Data is used to purchase stronger weapon tiers for multiplayer modes like Operations. There are four weapon tiers: Standard, Master-Crafted, Artificer, and Relic. Players will need to use XP to unlock the Standard-tier weapons before they can unlock the higher tier variants. Players will need to play plenty of matches to gain mastery. Once they do, they can spend their Armory Data to unlock the next weapon tier. Once the tier is unlocked, players can purchase any weapon in the tier group using Requisition Points, which is another type of currency players earn in Operations.
Which Weapons to Upgrade
There are plenty of weapons in the game for players to use. Here’s an example of which weapons to upgrade using Armory Data.
- Chainsword: A great melee weapon with decent speed, just with the Standard tier, players can deal a lot of damage in close range fights. Once unlocking the higher tiers of the Chainsword players will be able to get more Strength and Cleaving Potential. On top of that, weapon perks will also boost the damage of the melee. Whether it’s Tyranids or Chaos Marines, they won’t get in the player’s way. This melee is only available for Tactical, Assault, Vanguard, and Bulwark.
- Bolt Pistol: A versatile secondary weapon that can be used when the primary weapon is out of ammo. With its fast fire rate and large magazine capacity, it’s a useful weapon when the enemy is coming in close. By unlocking the higher tiers and weapon perks, the Bolt Pistol will become a great tool to finish off Tyranids. The Bolt Pistol is available for all classes.
- Occulus Bolt Carbine: This primary weapon is a rapid-fire, mid-range weapon that comes with an extended mag. With a fast fire rate and decent magazine capacity this gun is versatile. As players continue to unlock tiers for the weapon and apply perks, the Occulus Bolt Carbine becomes a force to be reckoned with. Unfortunately, this gun is only available for the Vanguard Class.
Choosing the right weapon to fit the class and playstyle will depend on the player. However, by unlocking Armory Data, players are given a variety of weapons to choose from that can tear through Tyranid hordes or defeat Chaos Space Marines trying to control a zone.
