Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 features tons of new enemies and customizations so players can dig into their role as soldiers of the Imperium. As Imperial Knights, gamers will dive into several operations and campaign quests, forcing them to face off against many foes. While you might be tempted to eradicate all of them at a moment’s glance, you might need to do some other things before you obliterate your foes, especially if you’re trying to unlock specific achievements.

Space Marine 2 Enemy Overview
Currently, the campaign and operations feature two factions that players can go up against. The first is the Tyranids, members of an insectoid race that aim to consume all organic life forms. The second is Chaos, which features various lifeforms that serve the gods of Chaos. This can include mortals, but they’re mainly daemons.
Each faction will feature several sets of enemies, which can increase with more updates in the future. While you can encounter most of them as you play various game modes, you might have trouble looking for some of them. Most players wouldn’t mind skipping some of them entirely , but for those trying to achieve the “Purge Them All” achievement it’s much more important. This requires gamers to tag specific enemies, so knowing where to find them can be extremely helpful.
How to Tag Enemies in Space Marine 2
The Purge Them All achievement requires you to mark enemies instead of just killing them. You can do this by aiming your crosshair or reticle against targets and pressing T on the keyboard or Up on the D-pad. You’ll have to do this before killing an enemy, or you’ll miss your chance. It should be noted that some targets can’t be tagged. Fortunately, these enemies are not included in the achievement process.
