Space Marine 2 has been gaining a lot of popularity since its release. With its great campaign and refreshing take on multiplayer game modes, players have plenty of content to play with. For those who aren’t familiar, Space Marine 2 is a sequel to the 2011 Space Marine game, which is based on the tabletop game Warhammer 40K.
Saber Interactive, the developers of Space Marine 2, have implemented a detailed customization system into the game, to satisfy both new and old Warhammer 40K fans. Space Marine 2 uses the Astartes Chapters to allow for character customization. Here’s a guide on all the Astartes Chapters and how to unlock them.

What Are Astartes Chapters
Using the Armoring Hall, you can change your Space Marine’s appearance in the Edit Armor menu. Next to Armor Sets you’ll find the Astartes Chapters tab where you can find all the available colors you can use for your Armor.
Each Astartes Chapter has a name that represents a group in the lore of Warhammer 40k. Chapters in the lore are meant to be an organization of Space Marines who have a unique culture, tradition, and characteristics.
Astartes Chapters in the game have their own sets of armor decals, emblems, color, patterns, and armor parts that you can use. You can also mix and match parts from different Chapters using the Custom Armor Set loadout. There are two types of Astartes Chapters, Adeptus Astartes and Heretic Astartes.
How To Unlock Astartes Chapters
To unlock Astartes Chapters, you’ll need to use Requisition, which is the game’s currency. You can earn Requisition in various ways. One of the ways is through completing Operation Missions. The higher the threat level the more Requisition you’ll earn. Another way is through completing matches in Eternal War will also earn you Requisition. Regardless of whether you win or lose the matches, you’ll still earn Requisition. Lastly completing your Class Trials will earn you Requisition as well. You must complete each objective in the trial to get the Requisition. Once you have enough Requisition you’ll go to the Heraldry menu to see all the Chapters you want to unlock.
