Getting an AC in Schedule 1 is pretty straightforward. You can purchase ACs at Dan's Hardware. You'll find the shop near the motel you start the game from. Buying an AC will cost you $1,500.
If you're trying to complete the Vibin' on the 'Cybin quest, you'll be tasked to purchase an AC for cultivating Shrooms. Once you've completed the quest, you'll be able to buy an AC unit from any hardware store.
How to Use an AC in Schedule 1
The AC in Schedule 1 can only be used for cultivating Shrooms. It's used to lower the room temperature when you're growing them. It's best to place the AC near the Mushroom Bed where the spores will grow.
To use the AC properly, set it to Cool to lower the temperature of your Shroom farming station. The specific temperature to set your room depends on the shrooms you're growing. That's why the AC is a crucial item to have.
