Path of Exile 2 Seven Pillars Location and Best Buffs We Recommend

In the second Interlude chapter of Path of Exile 2's campaign, there is a location with 7 pillars, each granting a permanent buff to your character for the rest of the game. The pillars are found in the Qimah node on the Interlude map, but they can be easily missed if you’re blitzing through the campaign. This guide will show you where to find them, all the buffs they have, and which ones you should take.

Seven Pillars Location

As mentioned earlier, the Seven Pillars are located in Qimah during the Interlude chapter. When teleporting to Qimah, go left of the waystone and follow the outer wall until you find a small corridor. Pass through the corridor, and it will lead you straight into the area with the Three Pillars. There is a checkpoint in the area to help you backtrack in case you want to change your existing buff.

All Seven Pillar Buffs

Each pillar will grant a specific buff when activated. Here are all the effects you can choose that can permanently boost your character:

  • Halani’s Boon: 12% Increased Cooldown Recovery Rate
  • Kochai’s Boon: +5 to All Attributes
  • Tabana’s Boon: +5% to All Elemental Resistances
  • Alima’s Disgrace: +5% Experience Gained, -5% Elemental Resistances, 3% Reduced Movement Speed, 15% Reduced Global Defences, 12% Reduced Cooldown Recovery Rate, 5% Reduced Attributes
  • Orbala’s Boon: +3% Increased Movement Speed
  • Ahkeli’s Boon: +15% Increased Global Defences
  • Galai’s Boon: +20% Increased Presence Area of Effect

📌Note: Don’t worry about choosing a buff, as you can always change it by returning to the Seven Pillars and choosing another if you’re not satisfied with your choice.

Top Buffs to Choose

The best buffs depend on your current build, as some classes will benefit more from specific interactions.

  • Classes that use Auras or any mechanic that utilizes the Presence mechanic can synergize greatly with Galai’s Boon.
  • If you need more survivability, either against physical damage, take Ahkeli’s Boon or Tabana’s Boon if you need to cap your resistances.
  • For builds that heavily depend on cooldown skills, Halani’s Boon has a nice CDR bonus that will give you a higher skill uptime.
  • For overall DPS, getting Kochai’s Boon for the extra attributes is always a nice boost to your damage.
  • Unless you’re in serious need of leveling up, I suggest not taking Alima’s Disgrace, as sacrificing multiple useful stats for 5% more XP is too high a cost.
