Here are some of the best places you can set up an ore base for Palworld's 1.0 release.
Best Ore and Coal Mine Location
For all kinds of ore and coal, the Verdant Brook region has an abundant ore deposit at coordinates (x: 189; y: -38). This location also has enough coal nodes to help fuel your furnaces. First, you will need a flying Pal to access the area.
Thanks to the terrain, your base can be easily defended, since raiders won't be able to climb up to your base.
Best Sulfur Mine Location
For sulfur, the best spot is the volcano's peak behind the Tower of the Brothers of the Eternal Pyre (x: -594; y: -525). It is easily accessible because there is a fast-travel point nearby. This location will be integral to obtaining ammo, since Sulfur is a vital component in crafting bullets and rockets.
Best Pure Quartz Mine
The Astral Mountain has the most Pure Quartz nodes to farm, and the coordinates (x: -212; y: 249) contain over 9 nodes to mine. Do note that you will need heavy cold-resistant armor to survive the climate or a Fire Pal to keep yourself warm.
