Mecha BREAK has been recognized for the customizability of their Strikers. However, there's one aspect of customization that players often overlook. Aside from cosmetic changes, you can enhance the Strikers you pilot with the use of Mods. To help you better understand how they work in the game, here’s an in-depth guide on Mods in Mecha BREAK.

What are Mecha BREAK Mods
Mods are enhancements to your Striker’s stats. These Mods are only used in the Mashmak (Extraction) game mode. Each Mod will increase a specific stat in your Striker but will also decrease another stat. So, you’ll have to mix and match which Mods will best fit your Striker. You can apply the Mods to five different parts of your Striker.
- Corixium Cascade Engine
- Carbotanium Skeleton
- Propulsion System
- Corixium Muscle
- Mindbridge Cockpit
You won’t have to worry about which Mods go in what part of your mech since as soon as you press the Mech part, the game will indicate which Mods can be attached to the Striker. There are 4 types of Mods you can attach to your Striker. The higher the rarity, the better stats it’ll give to your Striker. Here are all the Mod rarities in Mecha BREAK.
- Fine (Green)
- Superb (Blue)
- Rare (Violet)
- Flawless (Yellow)
How to Get Mecha BREAK Mods
Now that you know how Mecha BREAK Mods work, here are ways you can get them in the game.
Play Mashmak
Playing Mashmak will give you the most Mods as loot. When you defeat an enemy robot and see a box icon on the screen, you can loot the robot. You’ll see items that you can take, but you have to choose which items to take since you're limited to 12 items in your cargo space.
Playing in different difficulties will increase the drop rate of Mods when defeating enemy robots. Here’s the Drop Rate of each difficulty.
- Normal: 30%
- Hard: 60%
- Extreme: 100%
Use Mod Assembly
If you have too many Mods in your inventory from playing Mashmak, you can use the Mod Assembly to get a randomized Mod. In the Assembly, you can build Superb, Rare, and Flawless Mods. You’ll need 10 Mods and Matrix Credits to build the Mods.
Use Corite to Buy Mods
The last option isn’t recommended, but if you have a decent amount of cash, you can buy your Mods. You need to head to the Matrix Marketplace and look under the Mods section. You can filter through the different Mod Rarities and see which ones you need. You can spend the game’s in-game premium currency, Corite, if you need a specific Mod for your Striker. If you don’t want to spend real-life money, grinding Mashmak and using the Mod Assembly can give you the same results. You’ll just have to put in the time for Mecha BREAK.
