As a Helldiver, your job is to spread democracy across the galaxy and liberate the world of hostile bugs and Automatons. To give you that extra incentive, the game has a battle pass system akin to what you’d see in other live-service titles.
Warbonds are the official in-game name for the battle passes in Helldivers 2. This guide will preview every reward you can earn in the game’s two Warbonds. You’ve got the premium version, called Steeled Veterans, and the free one you automatically get after purchasing a copy of Helldivers 2, Mobilize.
How to Earn Rewards Through Helldiver 2’s Warbonds
Warbonds act like the battle pass systems you frequently see in other online games. You can claim the rewards on a page by getting the in-game currency—Medals—. If you’re an avid player of Fortnite, think of it as trading in your starts for certain cosmetics on its battle pass page. Once you’ve claimed enough items on a page, the subsequent page opens up. The further you progress, the more Medals you’ll need to unlock stuff.
In any case, you’re free to pick whichever reward you want to unlock first. You can get weapons for 10-20 Medals or add an extra layer of customization for your Helldiver by getting a Victory Pose.
The Mobilize battle pass in Helldivers 2 has 10 pages of rewards. You can trade your Medals for armor skins, weapons, emotes, Super Credits, and more. Super Credits are a premium currency in the game you can only get through the Warbond or purchase directly from the Super Credits store. On the other hand, the Steeled Veterans costs $10 and comes with a different set of goodies to unlock. It adds three more pages on top of what you’re trying to grind for in the Mobilize Warbond.

Will Helldivers 2 Get More Battle Passes in the Future?
According to the developers, Helldivers Mobilize! and Steeled Veterans are lifetime purchases—meaning there’s no time limit as to when the battle passes will expire. This is great if you don’t have the time to grind for Medals daily. You can simply take your time unlocking the weapons and armor available in the Warbonds.
Considering that Helldivers 2 is a live-service game, there is a chance we can get more battle passes in the future once there’s news about future seasons. Since Warbonds are permanent additions to the content roster, you can still access the previous Warbonds even after new ones are released. This eliminates the FOMO factor usually found in modern games-as-a-service.
Is Steeled Veterans Worth It?
The Premium option, Steeled Veterans, doesn’t offer much. Besides offering only three pages, the rewards are mainly cosmetics. You can try to get 1,000 Super Credits by playing the game but know that it’ll take a while compared to purchasing the premium currency outright for 10 USD. The developers may buff the gear locked behind Steeled Veterans down the line, but for now, it’s not worth fussing over.
