If you want to get your hands on the 5 new Sprites, you'll need to know how to obtain them during a match. Here's an in-depth guide to getting each new Sprite in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3.

How to Get the Striker Sprite in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3

You can unlock the Striker Sprite by visiting the new Soccer Pitch located southeast of Heatwave Harbor. Kick the soccer ball on the field into either goalpost to score. Once you hear a referee whistle, the ball will transform into the Striker Sprite for you to collect.

How to Get the Boss Sprite in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3

To get the Boss Sprite, you need to defeat one of the current map bosses, such as Voidblade, Wolfe, or Skeletor. Since the map bosses spawn randomly, you'll have to search the map and find them during your match. Once the boss is defeated, the Boss Sprite will appear along with their Mythic weapon.

How to Get the Grim Reaper Sprite in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3

Finding the Mythic-tier Grim Reaper Sprite requires you to search high-tier loot sources instead of completing a task. Your best strategy is to open Sprite Chests and Blue Rare Chests scattered around the map. To give yourself a high chance of finding one, use an Epic Vault Keycard to open Vaults that hold multiple Sprite Chests.

How to Get the Fishy and Aura Sprites in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3

You'll naturally find both the Fishy Sprite and Aura Sprite as part of the standard loot pool. Open regular chests, check supply drops, and search ground loot. They are more common than other Sprites, making them very easy to pick up during a match.

How to Keep Your Sprites in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3

Finding one of the 5 new Sprites is only half the battle. In Chapter 7, Season 3, if you're eliminated while carrying a Sprite, you'll drop it, and other players can steal it. To permanently add a new Sprite to your collection, you need to extract it. Here's how to do it.

  • Extraction Sites: Navigate to one of the fixed extraction terminals on the map, initiate the sequence, and defend the area until the timer completes.
  • Portable Extractor: If you find a Mythic like the Grim Reaper Sprite, use a single-use Portable Extractor to bank it immediately in about 5 seconds without exposing your location.
  • Victory Royale: Winning the match will automatically extract any Sprite you currently have equipped.

Once your Sprite is extracted, your new companion is secured. You can use Sprite Dust at the start of your next match to equip them right out of the Battle Bus and start leveling them up to Mastery.
