For Honor is a third-person, combat oriented game. It has a single-player campaign and several multiplayer modes. There are three factions and four classes of characters. The three factions represent the knights (Legion), samurai (Chosen), and Vikings (Warborn). Each faction has one character that belongs to one of the four classes: Vanguard, Assassin, Heavy, and Hybrid. The first three are well-balanced offensively and defensively. With the Hybrid class, characters have a mixture of uniqueness and elements from the classes. The hybrid is the hardest to master but lethal when utilized effectively.
The multiplayer modes are Dominion, Brawl, Duel, Skirmish, and Elimination. Dominion and Skirmish are similar. After a team has gathered enough points, they can eliminate the rival team. The difference lies in how points are gathered. In Dominion, points are collected as teams capture and hold zones in the battlefield while in Skirmish, they are gained by killing enemies. Duel is a one-on-one elimination battle; Brawl is too, except its two-on-two. Elimination is a four-on-four battle that ends only when members of the other team are defeated.
With a competitive multiplayer mode, you want a For Honor account with strong characters. It takes time to get your player to stealth mode, so what some players do is that they buy a 4 honor account.
For Honor’s leveling system is one where you gain levels by doing orders or completing games. Once you’ve reached level 20, you are sent a message that says you can use the experience you’ve gained to advance in reputation. Advancing in reputation increases your base stats, so a reputation 3 Valkyrie is better than a reputation 2 one at level 20. However, it resets the character’s level back to 1. Instead, shave some time by purchasing a For Honor account.
