The main thing in this game to collect is Heroes. They are the characters that fight for your cause who you can interact with. These Heroes are the bread and butter of the game, albeit being a bit of a fanservice for those who have been following the Fire Emblem series since its early years. Currencies You Need to Have in Your FE Account

Fire Emblem Heroes has several in-game currencies, but there’s only one which you can purchase with cash. While the game might seem like a big cash cow for newer players who aren’t familiar with these types of games, don’t worry because the developers of this game are a bit more generous than you think. FE Heroes is quite generous and provides you with a significant amount of orbs throughout your playthrough.

Orbs

Orbs are considered to be the most valuable currency in the game. They are also the only currency which you can spend real money on. Orbs are used to obtain new characters from banners. Other uses that Orbs have include fortifying your castle and expanding your barracks. Expanding your barracks is important as you’ll get to have additional slots for your Heroes, so spend your Orbs on these important structures as needed. To summon a hero, you will need to use 5 Orbs.

Feathers

Feathers, in terms of rarity, are second to that of the Orbs. They are used to unlock the potential of three to four-starred characters into five-star characters. You can earn Feathers by doing Daily Quests as well as Special Events. While promoting a one-star character into a two-star one is pretty cheap, doing so can add up in the long run—especially when it comes to leveling up your character up to the highest tier of all. While it may result in spending thousands upon thousands of feathers, at least you won’t have to spend any real money for it.

Best Heroes to Have

There are four character attributes in the game: red, blue, green, and gray. Red Attribute Heroes are of the sword, fire magic, and beast class. Blue Attributed Heroes are of the lance, lightning magic, and beast class. Green Attribute Heroes are composed of the axe, wing magic, and beast class. Gray/Colorless Attribute Heroes are made up of the bow, shuriken, and staff healer class.
