A new Spire in Veilwater Basin features a puzzle sequence that can be too complicated for some of us. In addition, getting to this area is also a challenge because of the amount of oxygen you need. This guide will show players how to reach the Ancient Spire and how to solve the puzzle in Enshrouded's Wake of the Water update.
How to Reach the Ancient Spire
Use the Albaneve Summits Spire as a fast travel location to get near enough to the Ancient Spire. Afterward, go through the Elixir Production Site and into Veilwater Basin. You’ll find the Ancient Spire northwest of the Dragondream Lake. When you enter the area, you’ll find several locked doors after defeating the Lizardmen. You’ll have to solve the puzzles to open these mechanisms.
How to Solve the Ancient Spire Puzzle
The Ancient Spire is filled with traps, so you’ll have to be careful as you traverse the structure. You’ll eventually reach the Six Level Door Puzzle. This is where most players struggle to solve the puzzle. Fortunately, all you need to remember is to focus on the levers with gold color pillars above them. Switches with the gold ornaments above must be turned on, while those without should be ignored.
All succeeding puzzles are simple. Most of them involve you activating glowing panels and shooting timed mechanisms, so you shouldn’t have a hard time solving these. However, we do advise players to have sufficient oxygen levels before submerging into the water pool because you’re going to be underwater for more than 30 seconds. There will be a panel that will give you an additional 30 seconds of breathing oxygen en route to the final area.
