Dragon Ball Legends has a massive roster of characters, and part of the fun is collecting every character of the Dragon Ball saga. Unlike other mobile games, Dragonball Legends hands out its free rewards by scanning QR codes instead of entering a redemption code. The game provides different resources during its anniversary event every May, but many players struggle to figure out how they can claim these rewards. Here’s a guide to redeeming these codes and making the most of the anniversary event.
Where to find QR codes
Players can use their friend’s QR codes to get free Chrono Crystals and Dragon Balls. Alternatively, you may also find some QR codes on Twitter during the event and the official Discord channels where community members generate codes for others. In order to claim a QR code, you must be friends with the player that owns it. There are many players willing to provide friend invites for QR exchanges, especially when the anniversary starts.
How to scan a QR code
First, save an image of the QR code you wish to scan. While in-game, go to the main menu and select the Scan function. Pull up your saved screenshot and scan the QR code within. You will receive your free Chrono Crystal and Dragon Ball rewards if it works. aNote that only 3 QR codes can be scanned per day.
How to use the Dragon Balls
Once you collect 7 Dragon Balls from the anniversary event, you can spend them to summon Shenron and be granted one wish. The game will allow you to choose between becoming the strongest fighter, 100,000,000 Zeni, 30 Energy tickets, a Gentleman’s Magazine, and 1000 Chrono Crystals. The first option, “Make me the strongest fighter,” cannot be granted, so choose between all the other wishes.
