Legendary Marks Farming Guide

Monument of Triumph

As the final update to Destiny 2, this update has its own set of Triumphs for players to accomplish, similar to the first Destiny. The Monument of Triumph is a bittersweet event for players who loved and loathed the game. To celebrate the memories and game that was Destiny 2, all players, new and old, can claim 50 Legendary Marks just by logging in.

What are Legendary Marks

Legendary Marks function as the real endgame currency and are earned in-game through completing Triumphs from the Monument of Triumphs category. These Marks are used in purchasing unique cosmetics and other items from past seasons of Destiny 2.

How to Farm Legendary Marks

Nearly all activities in Destiny 2 count toward progressing Triumphs; these can range from participating in basic patrols to engaging in other endgame content. Completing each Triumph grants players a few Legendary Marks. While each Triumph only gives a few marks, in total, there are 204 Triumphs under the Monument of Triumph tab to accomplish

Fastest Legendary Mark Farm

There is undoubtedly a long list of activities that you can do to earn Legendary Marks. Triumphs can be completed in any order. Some Triumphs just take more time to complete, and others can be done while on your downtime at the Tower. However, for those with limited time who just want to earn as many marks as quickly as possible, here is how to do it.

  • Start by completing Strikes and Battlegrounds and other activities under the Teamwork tab. These missions are often linear and easy to complete, especially with other players also looking to farm Legendary Marks. Since most of the Triumphs in this tab involve Strike missions, you are likely going to see significant progress in the Targets tab under Combat.
  • After doing Strikes and Battlegrounds, you can start on the Campaign tab. These are also straightforward and can be done with other players to speed up completion. While the missions are longer, the objectives are still simple and easy to complete.
  • Once you have done all you can for the campaign, the next set of Triumphs you should aim to accomplish is everything inside the Worlds tab. This tab holds a ton of Legendary Marks with easy objectives, often just exploring the overworld of the different locations available in Destiny 2.
  • If you are a big fan of Destiny 2 PvP, then the Competitions tab can easily be completed in a week. The only downside to it is the availability of Trials of Osiris, since the trials will only be held every 4 weeks. If you aren't a fan of Destiny 2 PvP, you can still earn Legendary Marks in this tab by participating in SRL (Sparrow Racing League).
  • It's highly recommended to do Raid Challenges and Exotic Missions last, since these often take a great deal of time to complete unless you have a dedicated fireteam. Other Triumphs can be completed as you go.
