Renegades brings in the Star Wars experience for Destiny 2, adding in Star Wars-themed weapons, armor, environments, enemies, sounds and story. Of course, no Destiny expansion is complete without a suite of Exotics to chase, from the Praxic Blade to the class Exotics. Here are all the Exotics to look out for in Destiny 2 Renegades and what their Exotic perks are.
Praxic Blade: Special / Kinetic Sword
One of the core Exotics for the Renegades expansion is the Praxic Blade, a lightsaber with multiple customization options. You can change the color of your lightsaber, as well as slot in mods in the lightsaber to change its performance. Using the heavy attack with the Praxic Blade lets you throw the lightsaber for ranged damage, while holding it increases its range and damage.
Holding the block button not only blocks incoming attacks, but also deflects all projectiles to wherever you aim your crosshair. It also comes with a perk where doing after a heavy attack after making three light attacks causes you to do a multi-hit combo.
The Praxic Blade will come with its own Exotic Quest for the weapon itself and catalysts. If you need help completing this challenging quest, a Destiny 2 Carry Service can ensure you get the blade without the hassle."
Heirloom: Special / Solar Combat Bow
The Heirloom is based on the Wookie boltcaster and functions the same. This weapon fires explosive bolts and has an intrinsic anti-Unstoppable perk. When you ADS, the weapon will slowly charge up to three levels. Each charge level increases the damage of your shot, as well as the explosive radius.
The catalyst makes direct hits with this weapon inflict Scorch and will deal more damage against Scorched enemies.
Service of Luzaku: Heavy / Strand Machine Gun
The first ever Support Frame LMG, Service of Luzaku, builds up charges of restorative energy when hitting enemy targets. Hip-firing the weapon on allies heals allies and consumes no ammo, while filling the magazine from reserves. Rapidly healing allies increases the weapon’s damage and causes Threadlings to spawn from them.
Final blows with the weapon cause a Threadling Nest to spawn at the target’s location, which automatically spawns Threadlings. Final blows near a nest will spawn more Threadlings.
Praxic Vestment: Titan Chestpiece
For the OG Destiny players that used Twilight Garrison, the Praxic Vestment armor piece is a jetpack that lets you fly like the Thundercrash super, albeit with more verticality. Upon activating the jetpack, enemies near you will be inflicted with Exhaust. Colliding with an enemy while flying emits a blinding blast and grants you bonus Melee stats.
Weapon final blows and Arc-powered melee attacks will recharge the jetpack battery.
Deimosuffusion: Warlock Helmet
For Strand Warlocks, this helmet is for you. Wearing this helmet while having a Strand super equipped will cause Rifts to suspend nearby targets. Suspended targets take damage over time while healing you. If a target breaks free from the suspend effect, they will take additional damage. Killing an enemy while they’re suspended will moderately heal you.
Fortune’s Favor: Hunter Boots
Hunters wanting more survivability will find value in the Fortune’s Favor boots. When equipped, final blows while at full health or being out of combat for an extended time cause you to slowly gain an overshield. Killing enemies while the overshield is active will refresh the overshield recharge duration.
While the overshield is active, your weapons deal more damage and gain increased accuracy, stability, and handling. Final blows will grant you increased mobility once the overshield is depleted.
