    Destiny 2’s Renegades expansion has brought plenty of new content for players, and the community is already buzzing about it on the Destiny 2 Marketplace. The Star Wars-themed expansion introduces new campaign missions. Compared to its previous expansion, it has fewer missions, but players will still enjoy it. The expansion takes a non-linear approach to the Campaign. To help you out, here’s a guide to the campaign missions in Destiny 2: Renegades.

    How Many Campaign Missions Does Destiny 2: Renegades Have?

    Renegades has 6 main campaign missions with 58 Quest Steps. Aside from the campaign-related missions, there are also filler missions with each Syndicate in the game. One of the campaign missions is an Exotic Mission, so be prepared when taking it on.

    Difficulty Modes in Destiny 2: Renegades

    Destiny 2: Renegades allows players to choose which difficulty mode to play. There are 2 difficulty modes in the expansion: Normal and Legendary. Here’s a guide on the differences between the two difficulty modes in Destiny 2: Renegades. 

    Normal

    Legendary
    • Enemy Health and Damage are lower. Unoptimized gear is less punishing.
    • Runs are smooth and fast. You can finish a mission with fewer deaths, fewer revives, and fewer resources.
    • Gives players a consistent reward for lowering the risk.
    • Enemies hit harder and have more health. They are often buffed with abilities. Fights and encounters take longer, demanding more skill and coordination.
    • Runs will be slower, such as clearing mobs, managing resource regen, and surviving hits. 
    • Gives players better loot drops, high-tier rewards, and better XP gains to compensate for the higher risk and time investment.

    📌Note: Choosing the right difficulty all depends on your goal for the game. If you’re going to play with friends or with other players and want a challenge, it’s best to play in Legendary Difficulty. If you’re going to play solo, casually, or want to focus on the game’s story, choosing Normal Difficulty is the best option. 

    All Campaign Missions in Destiny 2: Renegades 

    Here are all the campaign missions in Destiny 2: Renegades. 

    • Mission 1: Imperium
    • Mission 2: Fearsome Retainer
    • Mission 3: Out in the Cold
    • Mission 4: Fire and Ice (Exotic Mission)
    • Mission 5: The Long Con
    • Mission 6: Glory Beyond

    In between campaign missions, you can participate in filler missions with each of the Syndicate Factions in the game: The Pikers, Totality Division, and Tharsis Reformation. Each Syndicate will have 2 missions for you to complete, but their objectives are the same. The first is a Sabotage mission in either Venus or Europa, and the second is an Assassination Bounty Mission that also takes place in Venus and Europa.
