The Best Sniper In Call Of Duty Warzone

Since the Warzone 2 Meta is still developing, people are gaining and losing interest in certain weapons. This list will also change as the Meta changes, as it is based according to the Meta. But for the time being, in the Meta that is currently taking shape, the best Sniper Rifle is the Victus XMR. This sniper will get you the most damage out of every shot and on a wide range.

We have made a ranked list so that you can see how we ranked the Victus XMR above the other four sniper rifles and the 2 bolt action sniper rifles. Keep reading to see what makes the Victus XMR the best for Season 1 of Warzone 2.

Ranked List Of The Best Sniper Rifles In Warzone 2

As we said earlier, Warzone 2 has 5 snipers, but we have decided to add the 2 bolt-action snipers to our list as well. So, here are a total of 7 snipers, ranked from best to worst, so that you may choose the best one while you’re playing.

Let us talk about some of these in a bit more detail so that you may see why each gun is placed above the others.

7. SA-B 50

The SA-B 50 comes in last place for a few reasons. One, this bolt-action marksmen rifle lacks in terms of range and damage compared to the other options available. This makes it inefficient for large maps like Al Mazrah. However, being at the bottom of the list does not mean it's a bad sniper; it just gets outshined by the other options. With that said, the SA-B 50 definitely performs great in closer ranges.

6. SP-R 208

The Sixth on the list is also a bolt-action marksmen rifle, so this, too, is most effective in closer ranges. This gun can be used for quick scoping for fast high damaging shots. However, its damage and range are still poor compared to the other snipers on the list.

5. LA-B 330

This sniper is a very easy-to-use, lightweight sniper. The light weight allows you to get easy quick scopes and has pinpoint precision within its range. The range, however, is mid, it can be adjusted to close or long ranges.

The LA-B 330 is an okay-good sniper. We say this because it has no specific strengths that distinguish it from the rest. It isn't the best in strength nor the lightest weighing. It isn't the fastest-firing sniper, nor is it the most damaging.

4. SP-X 80

The SP-X 80 is exceptionally fast for a sniper. This makes it easier to handle as it can ADS really fast, making it the ideal sniper rifle for quick scoping. If you want to pull those trickshot quick scopes, this is the sniper you're looking for.

It does, however, have to trade some of its recoils for this snappy movement, but you can control it with some attachments. The only thing about this sniper is that it does lesser damage on longer ranges. You have to shoot the target at least two times to land a kill.

3. MCPR-300

The MCPR-300 is one of the two heavy-hitting snipers in the whole game. It has exceptionally high damage and can make one shot kills a reality for you, even on extremely long ranges. A headshot with this gun on any range can get you 275 damage, so you will either kill your target or leave them at one shot.

The only drawbacks of this are that it is very slow and heavy, making it harder to handle, and it would restrict your movement. You are bound to carry an SMG on the side to compensate for this heavy long-range weapon.

2. Single 50

This heavy sniper offers a slightly different way to get kills. It is not that exceptional in terms of damage and range; however, it does have the fastest fire rate among the snipers. This becomes a game changer when you can easily land two quick shots on running targets. It may not be as damaging as the rest but it does offer a great many kills because of its refire rate.

1. Victus XMR (The Best In Warzone 2 Season 1)

For a sniper that was just introduced in Warzone 2, the Victus XMR dominates the list, arriving on top. This gun has an amazing blend of high damage potential on long-range coupled with great handling. So basically, with the Victus XMR, you can ADS very quickly and kill off targets at crazy distances.

The Victus is capable of dropping off opponents with less than 3 shields in one hit. The only downside about it is that it has a 5-round mag size. However, this is compensated by the fact that it can do better damage than the other snipers, even on chest shots, so you would probably have eliminated nearby opponents before having to reload.

We have collected all the stats for each of the 5 snipers and the 2 bolt action snipers so that it's easier for you to see the differences between them and relate better to our judgment.

Before we start with the stats, a few of the fields require a bit of explanation. Thus, we have given a comprehensive key down below:

• DMG - Damage. At close range, This is the damage dealt to the Head/Chest/Stomach/Limb (in this order).
• STK - Shots To Kill. This is the number of shots it takes to kill an enemy at 100/250 HP (in this order).
• TTK - Time To Kill. This is the time it takes to kill a person with 100 HP, assuming all bullets hit the chest.
• DPS - Damage Per Second. This is the amount of damage that is dealt per second, assuming all bullets hit the chest.
• ADS - Aim Down Sights speed. This is how fast the gun, in base form, can aim down sight.
• Move Speed - This is the ratio of your sprint speed while carrying this gun, to the sprint speed when you are unarmed. (50% means you’re half as fast with the gun equipped)
• Mag Size - This is the number of rounds a gun can fire before it needs to reload.
