All ARC Raiders Enemies Guide and Weakpoints

Every ARC in the game can be just as dangerous as other player scavs, if not more so, with the larger enemies. However, each ARC has a weakspot that you can shoot to make them less effective in combat, such as the rotors on flying ARCs or the joints of a Leaper. This guide will show you how to deal with every enemy type in ARC Raiders.

All Enemy Types in ARC Raiders

Tick

Ticks are small ARCs that hide in buildings and other indoor areas. These have no armor and are easy to destroy, but come in groups of 3 to 4.

  • Tip: Shotguns are great against them since they can only engage in melee range.

Fireball

These roller enemies can be annoying to fight, especially when facing another group of scavengers. The Fireball, in particular, has a flamethrower that can melt your shields and health.

  • Tip: Its weakspot is the front area while it's about to shoot its flamethrower.

Pop

This enemy is a smaller roller enemy than the Fireball, but it is unarmored and moves faster. When in proximity to a player, they detonate, causing massive explosive damage.

  • Tip: Pops announce their presence through loud beeping, giving you time to react.

Surveryor

Surveyors have the most armor out of all the roller enemies, but have no weapons, instead serving to alert other ARCs to your position. If cornered, it will try to ram at you.

  • Tip: You will need medium ammo to break off its armor to expose its core and each armor plate you break can be looted.

Wasp

Wasps are flying drones armed with a machine gun. When you’re spotted, Wasps will try to flank you and find an angle where you’re most exposed before bursting your shields and health down. Before firing, it will shine a yellow light at you, signalling its attack.

  • Tip: You can take down a Wasp by shooting two of its thrusters to make it crash into the ground.

Hornet

These are the heavy variant of the Wasp, encased in more armor and are armed with a laser that can stun you. Both the main body and the front thrusters have armor, which can only be penetrated with heavy ammo.

  • Tip: Its weakspot is the rear thrusters, as these can be hit with medium or light ammo.

Rocketeer

These are the heaviest flying drones armed with rocket launchers that deal massive AoE damage and can hit you even through cover.

  • Tips:
    • Unlike the Hornet, all four thrusters are armored, requiring you to bring heavy ammo weapons, but they will be downed like the other drones if you destroy two thrusters.
    • Wolfpack grenades are also a great option, as one of these brings it to extremely low health.

Leaper

Leapers are large, heavily armored mechanical spiders that will jump to your position and attack you with their radial sonic blast that deals heavy damage.

  • Tip: The easiest way to kill a Leaper is to use a Showstopper grenade to stun it, then shoot its leg joints to immobilize it. The core is also another weakspot you can shoot, but it's best to destroy the legs first to make it weaker.

Bastion

Bastions are heavily armored walkers with a front-facing minigun that will shred through your shields and health in seconds, especially when out in the open.

  • Tip: To kill it, go behind it and shoot the yellow joints and canister at its rear to deal maximum damage to it. Heavy ammo can also penetrate through its front armor, but disabling its joints makes its turning speed extremely slow.

Bombardier / Spotter

The Bombardier is a lighter armored walker enemy that uses an artillery cannon to hit players behind cover. These always come with a Spotter drone that spots and paints you for the Bombardier to shoot at. If you get too close, the Bombardier will emit a sonic blast like the Leaper.

  • Tip: When fighting it, always keep moving, as the projectiles it fires can be dodged easily. Prioritize killing the Spotter first, as this will make the Bombardier less accurate. Afterwards, shoot its rear weakspot to expose its core and kill it.

The Queen

This is an endgame boss and requires a full team and other raiders in the map to try and take down. The Queen only spawns during a Harvester event on any map. You will need heavy ammo for this fight and a full stock of Heavy Fuze Grenades to damage it.

  • Tip: Its first weakspots are the yellow joints on its legs, which are only exposed once the leg armor has been destroyed. Its second weakspot is the top of its head, which only exposes itself while it's firing its laser and remains exposed for a brief window after firing.
