The War Within is WoW's latest expansion, where players can explore the land of Khaz Algar. This new expansion has 8 new dungeons, 4 level-up dungeons, and 4 maximum-level dungeons, filled with loot waiting to be discovered. In addition, there are 4 zones with 2 dungeons each that will need a level requirement before a player can enter them. Here's a guide on all the dungeon requirements for The War Within.
Isle Of Dorn
The Isle of Dorn is a zone filled with lush and verdant paradise with vistas, waterfalls, and mountains. It’s also the ancestral home of this expansion’s new race, the Earthen.
The Rookery
Dungeon Level Requirement: 71
The Rookery is a level-up dungeon located in Dornogal. Players can find the entrance to this dungeon at the Keeper's Entrance, which is towards the city's northwest side. This dungeon has 5 floors and 3 bosses. It may sound complicated, but the flow of the dungeon is simple to follow. Players will have to take a Stormrook to the Storm's Roost, where they will encounter Kyross, the first boss. Once Kyross is defeated, players will go down to the Stormrider Barracks and fight the mobs. The barracks lead to the Crashing Storm Hall, where the second boss, Stormguard Gorren, resides. After its defeat, players can continue through to theAbandoned Mines, where they will meet the final boss of the dungeon, Voidstone Monstrosity.
Cinderbrew Meadery
Dungeon Level Requirement: 80
The Cinderbrew Meadery is a maximum-level dungeon located on the east side of the capital city of Dornogal. The Cinderbrew Meadery is a one-floor dungeon that has a main bar and two wings that split off to the east and west. Players will first take on the Brew Master Aldryr in the main bar. Then, once defeated, the two wings of the floor will open, and players will need to defeat I'pa and Benk Buzzbee. After defeating the two bosses, Bee Lines will spawn, which will lead players back to the main bar, where they'll need to defeat the final boss, Goldie Baronbottom.
The Ringing Deeps
The Ringing Deeps is the home to the Machine Speakers, Earthens who maintain gigantic Titans of the past. Machine Speakers have been gathering materials in this zone.
The Stonevault
Dungeon Level Requirement: 73
The Stonevault is the second level-up dungeon. The entrance of the Stonevault can be found north of The Ringing Deeps. Gundargaz is close to the dungeon entrance. The Stonevault is a one floor dungeon that breaks off into three parts from the center area, the Central Processing. There are 4 bosses in this dungeon. Players will encounter E.D.N.A. at the Central Processing when they first enter the dungeon. After defeating E.D.N.A., players can either face the Master Machinists in the Singing Forge or Skarmorak in The Earthblood Crucible. Once both bosses are defeated, the doors of the Whispering Hall will open, where players will have to defeat Void Speaker Eirich.
Darkflame Cleft
Dungeon Level Requirement: 80
Darkflame Cleft is the second maximum-level dungeon in the expansion. It’s located northeast of Gundargaz. The dungeon's entrance is a mine with lit candles; and a summoning stone can also be found outside the entrance. Darkflame Cleft is a one-floor dungeon filled with mobs. There are 4 bosses total. Players will first face off with Ol' Waxbeard and Blazikon. After defeating the bosses, players will encounter The Candle King. Once The Candle King is defeated, there’s only one boss left. With all the bosses who kept the mines lit having been defeated, players will face off against The Darkness. Players will need to play the minecart minigame first before they can face off with The Darkness. The minecart game can be found in the Hall of the Candle King.
Hallowfall
Hallowfall is the home of the Arathi. This zone has a giant crystal at the center, which the Arathi believe is holy and their duty to protect it. The focus of the Arathi is their continued battle against the Nerubians.
Priory Of The Sacred Flame
Dungeon Level Requirement: 75
Priory of the Sacred Flame is the third level-up dungeon located within the city of Mereldar. The entrance is at the high point of Mereldar near the dock. The Priory of the Sacred Flame has two parts: the dungeon in the outside area, the Sanctified Grounds; and the inside area, the Priory itself. The Priory is a 3-boss dungeon. In the Sanctified Grounds, players will need to face off against Captain Dailcry. But first, it’s recommended that players take out his trusted guards: Sergeant Shaynemail, Taenar Duelmal, and Elaena Emberlanz. Once players have defeated the guards and the boss, they’ll enter the Priory and defeat Baron Braunpyke and Prioress Murrpray.
The Dawnbreaker
Dungeon Level Requirement: 80
The Dawnbreaker is the third maximum-level dungeon in the new expansion. It’s the Arathi's flagship and is located at Tenir's Ascent. The entrance to the dungeon is in the castle walls surrounding The Dawnbreaker's dock. The Dawnbreaker is a moving dungeon that will take players across the city of Mereldar to fight against 3 bosses. When players board The Dawnbreaker, they’ll first take on Speaker Shadowcrown. After her defeat, players will fly into the city of Mereldar and fight against Anub'ikaj. Once defeated, players will head back to the Dawnbreaker and face Rasha'nan.
Azj-Kahet
Azj-Kahet is the last zone of the new expansion and the home of the Nerubians. It’s a region filled with creatures of all kinds of different races who’ve found a way to live side-by-side with the Nerubians.
Ara-Kara, City of Echoes
Dungeon Level Requirement: 77
Ara-Kara, City of Echoes, is the fourth level-up dungeon in the new expansion and is located in the City of Threads. Ara-Kara is a two-floor dungeon and contains 3 bosses. Players will descend into the Echoing Overlook, where they’ll have to defeat Ixin, Nakt, and Atik. After defeating the three minibosses, players will face off against Avanoxx. Once defeated, players will head to the Overlook, where they’ll encounter Anub'zekt. Afterward, players will descend once more to the Underache, where the final boss, Ki'kital the Harvester, resides.
City Of Threads
Dungeon Level Requirement: 80
City of Threads is the fourth maximum-level dungeon and serves as both a general zone and a dungeon of Azj-Kahet. The dungeon's entrance is located at the city's border near the Wildcamp Ul'ar flight point. The dungeon has two parts: the city itself and the Transformatory. Players will start off the dungeon by encountering Orator Krix'vizk and then the Fangs of the Queen. Once both bosses are defeated, players will head to the Transformatory, where they’ll face off against The Coaglamation and Izo, the Grand Splicer, the final two bosses of the dungeon.
After completing each dungeon, players will be given plenty of loot and other rewards. Players should know their levels before entering the dungeons, or else they'll have a tough time defeating the mobs and bosses. It’s also a good idea to take time to gather the necessary materials to take on these dungeons.
