Setting the Right Price on a PSN Account
When selling a PS4 account, there are certain factors to keep in mind when setting its price. First would be the kind of games it has. The more popular and more recent they are, then the account will fetch a higher price — and this not only includes the base games, but also any DLCs or Season Passes for the games. In addition, these games should preferably have cloud save. Another factor is an account’s progress in popular games with online play, such as the following:
- Final Fantasy XIV
- Tekken 7
- Destiny 2
- Monster Hunter World: Iceborne
If the account has enough progress in those games for it to be considered either endgame or high-tier, the account will be worth more. Also, for PSN accounts with MMOs, sellers can check out how much the account is on that MMO individually, then add it to the total price on the PSN account.
On a related note to the account’s games, the buy-to-play games of the PSN account should be digital copies. This is to ensure that the buyer can re-download them on their own console.
Lastly, the PSN account’s PS Plus membership will affect the price. In fact, it’s recommended for the account to have PS Plus, as it will give the buyer online play for non-free-to-play games, as well as a free title for every month. Preferably, the PS Plus membership on the account should last the buyer a few months, or even a year.
