The Flesheater's Feast quest in Mistfall Hunter is a difficult story quest that requires you to kill Otto the Flesheater, a tough boss who requires a full team to successfully clear for the best rewards. He is a fairly tough fight to solo, but can be easily beaten with the right setup. Here is the quest guide for The Flesheater's Feast quest and where you can find him.
The Flesheater's Feast Questline
The prerequisites to start require completing the following questlines:
- Iron and Fire
- Life Must Go On
- Reunion
- Siblings
To start, you will need to upgrade your camp Tavern to level 2 with 2 Norgard King's Coin, 2 Ritual Severed Dagger, 2 Crimson Bat Eye, and 1 Bone Lyre. Afterward, speak to Dew, and she will task you to slay Otto the Flesheater in Brandrgarde.
Mist Lord Otto Location and Guide
The boss is exclusive to the Brandrgarde zone, which requires a minimum equipment value of 300 Gyldenblood before you can enter. The boss will spawn either in the Main Hall area or the Sealed Zone area, but the doors will be sealed.
Otto's moveset is primarily melee-based and primarily rushes down players with his forward charge attack (Be careful, as he also leaves a trail of fire while charging). Up close, he will do a flurry of sweep attacks that you must run away from as Otto dashes forward while swiping. At range, Otto will either place his hand to the ground and throw a wave of rocks at you or unleash flaming projectiles from his chest while walking towards you.
In his final phase, the arena will start to erupt with golden fire at random places, limiting the space you can safely fight him in. You only have a limited amount of time until he reaches his Enraged mode, which will cause a stun and instantly wipe everyone in your party.
The best classes for Otto are Seer for support, Sorcerer for ranged DPS, and a Mercenary for frontline tanking. If you prefer dealing as much damage as possible, you could also switch the Mercenary for a Shadowstrix with their extra mobility skills.
