Because they started out as a small company, their early years didn’t see profits past about 20 million dollars. Their first breakthrough was Honkai Impact 3rd, as their sales jumped to about a hundred million in the year the game was released globally.
Their biggest profits, however, came from Genshin Impact. The game was released in the last quarter of 2020, and there was already a significant spike to 500 million dollars. Its first full year of operations gave the company almost 1.5 billion in sales. That’s three times what they got the year before! Needless to say, the company is successful and prospering.
