From heavy to ranged weapons, each one has a role to play in the game’s progression. If you want to unlock all of Yakumo’s weapons, here’s a guide on all the weapons in Ninja Gaiden 4 and how to unlock them.

How to Upgrade Weapons in Ninja Gaiden 4

Once you’ve unlocked all the weapons in Ninja Gaiden 4, you can upgrade them. Here’s a guide on how upgrading weapons works in the game.

Upgrading your weapons in Ninja Gaiden starts by defeating enemies. As you continue to progress in the game and defeat more foes, you’ll rack up Weapon EXP. They are used to unlock new skills and upgrades for your weapon.

Each chapter in the game is replayable, so you can grind for Weapon EXP. This method works well but will take time. Another option is to finish the game and head back to Umi’s Shop

The Shop will be upgraded with some new items. Look for the Enlightenment Omamori that costs 8,000 NinjaCoins. The item can convert the NinjaCoins you get from fighting enemies into Weapon EXP. Making grinding for Weapon EXP a lot faster since NinjaCoins are a lot more prevalent than Weapon EXP.

By grinding for Weapon EXP, you’ll unlock the Bloodraven form. It’s basically the most powerful attack that can be triggered by pressing the Left Trigger. Bloodraven form will deal with a hefty amount of damage and stagger them, which is helpful for boss fights.
