The Spearhead update significantly changed the quest system of Gray Zone Warfare, making it much more streamlined and improving the new player experience. But despite the amazing changes, completing quests can still be confusing. Players are given a general idea of what they need to do and where, but still nothing specific. So, to fix that, here is your guide to completing Gunny's Guns and Ammo quest.
Guns and Ammo Full Walkthrough
📍Location: Hunter’s Paradise
Step 1: Find the Ambushed Truck
Finding the ambushed truck is very easy. The truck is located on the road leading towards the shooting range. For reference, check the road between these coordinates (159,164) to (159,167). Once the truck has been found, you need to inspect one of the weapon crates on the truck bed.
Step 2: Scout 3 Locations
The second step in the quest is straightforward: scout the Dumping Grounds (159,167), Rest Point (161,169), and Motel (160,167). All you need to do is go to these locations and walk in the area until the subtask is completed. These locations surround the main area of Hunter’s Paradise.
Step 3: Investigate the Weapon Storage
To complete this step, you'll need the Hunter’s Paradise Weapon Storage Key. This key can be looted from slain enemies, so be sure to check the pockets, bags, and belts of enemies. It also has 2 dedicated spawns in the office area near the Firing Range. Inside the office, check the top of the shelf with the gray binder. The second spawn can be found on the desk with the lampshade.
Once the key has been found, head over to the warehouse area past the Firing Range. You will know you're in the right building if you see a forklift nearby. Inside the building, there will be a locked door that you'll need to open. Go inside and press Report Finding to complete the subtask, and help yourself to any loot.
Step 4: Locate a Note
The item required for this step can be found along the road leading to the main area, just outside the Motel's perimeter. It's inside a guard station, and the item is called Grumbling Note. Make sure to take it with you, as you will need to hand it over to Gunny.
Step 5: Locate a Folder
For the final step of the quest, in the Motel area, head over to the building that is painted yellow. Outside one of the rooms is a white plastic table with a folder called Nam’s Folder. Take the folder with you since you need to hand it over to Gunny to complete the quest.
