Forza Horizon 6 offers players a wide selection of purchasable houses, each with its own unique perk. Property management is an important component of the game, as it is directly tied to player progression. Some perks are definitely more useful than others, but purchasing each property does help with progression.
How to unlock all the Houses
The first step in purchasing a House in FH6 is having the appropriate stamp unlocked in your Discover Japan collection journal tab. There are 7 Stamp colors: Yellow, Green, Blue, Pink, Orange, Purple, and Gold. Each stamp unlocked grants the player the opportunity to purchase the next house.
Mei's House
- Region: Ohtani
- Perk: Wheeler Dealer (Ability to trade cars at the auto show)
- Price: Free
- Stamp: Yellow
Although not purchasable, this is the player's first property after the prologue. It has 4 Car slots and serves as a simple storage space. Aesthetically, it's not the best either, as it's essentially a junk shop.
Tokyo House
- Region: Tokyo City
- Perk: Daily Wheelspin
- Price: 3,000,000 Credits or Free with VIP
- Stamp: Yellow
The most expensive and arguably most useful house is available for purchase as soon as you start the game. Having this house unlocked lets you earn daily rewards for essentially nothing. An amazing property to have, but it comes at a steep 3 million credits; it essentially costs as much as all other houses combined.
Minka House
- Region: Ito
- Perk: Credit Stunts (10% more Credits for completing Horizon Stunt Party Events)
- Price: 450,000 Credits
- Stamp: Green
The first real property that most players would be able to purchase. Unlocked at the Green stamp tier, this house offers a rather standard perk that benefits those who enjoy stunt-related content. Not the most aesthetically pleasing locations, but they are close to beaches and piers.
Hakusan Mountain Lodge
- Region: Sotoyama
- Perk: Additional Garage Slot (Ability to add +1 Display Car Locator) and Cool Credits (10% More Credits for completing Horizon Life Events)
- Price: 635,000 Credits
- Stamp: Blue
One of the best bang-for-your-buck houses in the game, thanks to having 2 perks and being on a mountainside for scenic photos. The Cool Credits perk is also arguably better, since the content type is more enjoyable. At a 635,000 Credit price, this house offers much more than the Minka House for a slightly higher cost.
Fuji Unkai House
- Region: Shimanoyama
- Perk: Career Driver (10% More Credits for completing Horizon Jobs)
- Price: 830,000 Credits
- Stamp: Orange
Probably the most aesthetically pleasing house in the game, thanks to its classic Japanese styling and location at the base of Mount Fuji. Other than aesthetics, it's also a must-have for players looking to grind out as many Credits thanks to its perk.
Soko 78
- Region: Tokyo City
- Perk: Import/Export (Pay 5% less Credits when purchasing cars from the Autoshow)
- Price: 980,000 Credits
- Stamp: Purple
It's a large warehouse in the middle of Tokyo City. If you are a fan of Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift, then skip the previous house and rush to unlock this one. The perk is useful for players who enjoy working on cars, as it lets them purchase cars at a slightly lower cost.
Vision House
- Region: Ohtani
- Perk: Driving with Friends (10% extra Skill Score when doing LINK Skills) and Additional Garage Slot (Ability to add +1 Display Car Locator)
- Price: 1,500,000 Credits
- Stamp: Golden
As the last unlocked house and second most expensive property, the Vision House is certainly a sight to behold. Located atop a mountain, it offers stunning views of the city and its surroundings. Its perks leave much to be desired, but if it's photoshoots with friends, this place certainly offers scenery unlike all the rest.
How to unlock and upgrade The Estate
How to unlock Yashiki House (The Estate)
- Region: Hokubu
- Perk: Estate Builds
- Price: 10,000 Credits
- Stamp: Yellow
As soon as the prologue ends, players can head over to The Estate. Upon arriving in the area, players must first use the new Estate Builder mechanic to move 19 props away from the road. Once completed, players can purchase the estate for 10,000 Credits and build to their heart's content.
How to upgrade your Estate
There aren't any traditional "upgrades" to the Estate. Instead, players can essentially use it as a blank canvas to create race tracks, build giant parking and display buildings, and whatever their heart desires.
How to Build Your Own Estate
Once you have a decent amount of Credits, you can start building almost anything. The Estate Builder offers a wide variety of props ranging from roads to random shapes, each costing a small amount of Credits. You can also save your Estate layout for future use and share it with the rest of the Forza Horizon 6 community.
If building your own Estate is overwhelming or just something you don't enjoy, don't waste the property. Instead, head over to the Browse Community Estates and look for a layout that you like. Once you find one, you can download it and use it on your own Estate. If you have not purchased the props used in the build, using a community build will cost some Credits. The cost depends entirely on the props used and the size of the build, since bigger builds use more props.
