Fortnite's latest mini-season has finally begun, bringing tons of new skins, major map changes, and more. One of the best ways to get the brand-new guns, sprites, and a good chance at great loot is by looting vaults. Here are all the vault locations on the Fortnite Treasure Hunters map.
All Vault Locations in Fortnite (Treasure Hunters)
Currently, there are 9 vaults for players to loot. The vaults are spread out through the map: 3 near the top, 3 in the middle, and 3 at the bottom.
- West of Rubber Resort: Between the main POI and the adjacent pool.
- South of Loot Lagoon: At the waterfall near the ship's mast.
- Inside Fortunes Fort: Inside one of the POI's main buildings.
- East of Lantern Landing: Close to the shore; follow the path from Arlong Park.
- Between Cursed Cavern and Giant's Battlefield: In the gazebo area.
- On The $.$. Rocky: Directly on the ship.
- Northwest of Windmill Village: Close to the rocky shore; follow the beach area.
- Inside Loguetown: Just south of the town square.
- Island East of Plunder Port: East of the wrecked ship and directly south of Busy Bay.
How to Open Vaults in Fortnite (Treasure Hunters)
Finding the vaults is only half the task; opening them requires Vault Keys. These keys are entirely dependent on in-game chance. Keys can only drop from opening regular loot chests and getting lucky. The best way is to find an area with dense chest spawns and start looting.
How to Find Vault Keys Fast in Fortnite (Best Loot Routes)
Loot Lagoon is arguably the best POI to farm chests. It has 7 guaranteed chest spawns in close proximity, and the vault is in an easily accessible location. Its downside is that it's in the upper-middle area of the map. On the bright side, its location lets you rotate around the map more easily, so you can go after more loot or head to a more advantageous position.
Fortune's Fort has tons of potential chest spawns, with 3 guaranteed chest spawns. If you get lucky, a nearby vault is available. However, the loot density and proximity to a vault will almost guarantee PvP immediately.
Plunder Port is also a great place to land if you are gunning for chests and vault keys. Going east into the giant exposed bones and ship gives you 7 guaranteed chest spawns. The port itself also has tons of potential chest spawns. Directly east of the POI is a vault, making this a prime landing spot. It's close to the end of the map, so players dropping in here are likely avoiding PvP, making the looting much easier.
