What are Apex Attachments?
Apex Attachments are weapon attachments that significantly change how your gun functions, feels, or is used. Most of these weapon mods add extra functionality, while others make your weapon perform extremely differently.
How to Unlock Apex Attachments
You often unlock these weapon mods last. For most assault rifles, that would be weapon level 72. Unlike other weapon attachments, once you unlock an Apex Attachment for a gun, it stays unlocked even after you prestige it.
Attachment Restrictions
Adding an Apex Attachment isn't always a good idea, since it can prevent you from customizing other parts of the gun. Some attachments prevent you from modifying the stock, sights, and even the underbarrel at the same time. This is done to make you question if equipping one of these attachments is worth the trouble of losing Accuracy, Stability or even Mag capacity.
