However, the game has been widely criticized for being stingy with pulls, and as a result, players have been looking for ways to reroll their free pulls. The game has just been released, and the community verdict is already out for which characters to aim for. Some are mainstays in the anime, and some are side characters with nonetheless memorable moments in the show.
Meliodas (Best Overall)
Why
Other than being the main character of the original anime, he has some of the best stats and abilities in the game, and none are even coming close. His Adventure Skill allows him to double jump and run on walls, essentially unparalleled mobility for traversing the open world.
But it's in combat where he truly shines. He has 3 weapon options, and two of them are amazing for different reasons. His Axe is when you essentially want a delete button for the enemy, thanks to Abyssal Power Smash, which deals 140/302% Attack based on charge level and causes enemies to take 120% DoT.
The second and preferable option is his Dual Swords. His Passive: Spirit Master, while using this weapon, makes him a one-person army. It causes enemies to receive a constant DoT debuff while giving Meliodas a 5% Heal every 2 seconds.
Jericho (Best Reroll)
Why
She is the character with the most visually stimulating gameplay thanks to her Dual Blades. By activating her Weapon Enhancement Skill, she is granted Frozen Saber. This ability lets her teleport to enemies behind her and deal decent amounts of damage. Jericho is quickly able to fill her Burst Gauge, which allows her to unleash her ultimate ability often. It makes her one of the premier damage dealers in the game and is also visually appealing thanks to her teleport ability.
Diane (Best Reroll)
Why
Diane is one of the most flexible characters in the game. She is capable of dealing massive amounts of damage while providing some of the thickest shields for her teammates. Diane is what many would consider to be the traditional tank in most games because of her shields, taunts, and small but impactful heals.
Most would say her Axe is her best weapon because of the damage and the stun it provides, but I’d argue her Cudgel is her best weapon. The Passive: Breath of the Giants provides Heart of the Land, which is essentially unmatched utility with a taunt, a heal, and a shield all in one kit. She works extremely well with most teams and can be your go-to panic swap character thanks to her tankiness and utility.
King
Why
In a vacuum, King is not anything special. His Book loadout and his Staff loadout just don't do enough to justify using him as the main DPS. However, his Wand loadout is something to behold.
Using his Wand, he can easily synergize with Diane and Elaine thanks to its Earth element. It's Passive: Fairy’s Protection provides a staggering 35% boost to both Attack and Defense. Overall, his wand makes him a dedicated support character who fits easily into most teams but especially excels in Earth teams.
Mannie
Why
In the event you find yourself dissatisfied with the amount of damage you are dealing, using Manny will quickly change that. She is the premier support character for endgame players thanks to the massive damage buffs she can provide using her Staff. Her Ultimate Move: Flash Explosion gives enemies a 20% debuff to ALL ELEMENTS. This ability lets you nuke enemies regardless of which elemental team you decide to run. Furthermore, she works really well with Jericho thanks to her abilities, granting the team a boost to crit chance.

Setting up for rerolls
The game is currently available on multiple devices, but the easiest way to perform rerolls is on PC via Steam. For PS5 players, it is significantly more difficult, as the only way to reroll is to create a brand-new PSN account. Ensure you have more than one Gmail account to expedite the reroll process. Be sure to claim all the free pulls after the tutorial, 15 standard banner pulls, and 1 pull for the Meliodas banner.
How to Reroll by Account Linking
After completing the tutorial and your free pulls, if you are not satisfied with the results, start the reroll process.
- Step 1: Go into the [Main Menu] by pressing the button in the top right corner.
- Step 2: Go to [Settings] by pressing the Gear icon on the left side of the main menu.
- Step 3: Go to the [Accounts] section and press on the [Link] option in the Link Accounts tab.
- Step 4: Select [Google] and enter your email.
- Step 5: Unlink your [Steam] account.
- Step 6: Go back to the [Link] account screen to verify none of your accounts are linked.
