In Zenless Zone Zero, Velina is a premier Ex Special Attacker who provides amazing CC and buffs for her team thanks to Windswept and Vortex. Her damage mainly scales using Anomaly Proficiency, and she is one of the best choices to grab with the release of 3.0.

Best W-Engine for Velina: Joyau Dore

Joyau Dore is Velina's signature W-Engine and is also her BiS. This W-Engine provides her with massive buffs to her Anomaly Proficiency and a stacking 7% damage buff whenever she deals Wind Damage to her Windswept and Vortex abilities. At max stacks (2), the rest of her team gains an impressive 60 Anomaly Proficiency. Most of Velina's usefulness comes from her Ex Special Attack, which works perfectly with this W-Engine, essentially guaranteeing 100% since damage resets the timer. As long as you periodically switch into Velina, her team buff will almost always remain active.

Best Drive Disc for Velina: Wuthering Salon

Without a doubt, the Wuthering Salon is the best Drive Disc for Velina. At 4 pieces, the set provides Velina with tons of buffs to her Anomaly Proficiency and her Ex Special Attack. Whenever Velina uses her Ex Special Attack, she receives a 25 Anomaly Proficiency buff, stacking 2 times for 40 seconds, and the timer resets whenever damage is applied. Most of her damage and utility mainly come from Anomaly procs. She essentially functions as an Anomaly stat stick, and maxing out her core passive should be your immediate goal. Her Ex Special Attack comes next, mainly because it's how she applies Vortex and Windswept to enemies. The rest of her skills are not really a priority compared to her passive and special attacks.
