You can breed Pals together in Palworld to produce offspring. You’ll need one male and female Pal, a Breeding Farm, and plenty of cake to incentivize them to breed. If you want to complete your Paldeck, breeding is an excellent way to discover new Pals you otherwise wouldn’t have encountered on your journey. To know which results you can get from the Breeding Farm, you can use a Palworld breeding calculator. The calculator essentially determines the resulting Pal of the male and female Pal by their breeding power. Here’s how to use a breeding calculator to make getting rare Pals easier.
What’s A Palworld Breeding Spreadsheet?
Palworld is known to have intricate breeding mechanics, making it difficult to know what sort of creature will hatch from the egg. Luckily, a dedicated player has meticulously created a comprehensive spreadsheet detailing over 18,000 breeding pair combinations. This feat showcases a deep understanding of Palworld and the commitment and dedication within the community.
You can find the Palworld breeding spreadsheet here.
How Does Breeding Work in Palworld?
Each Pal has a hidden ‘breeding power’ number between 10 and 1500. The lower the number, the rarer or more powerful that Pal is. You can find all the Pal Power Levels on the Visual Data tab of the spreadsheet. Then, the breeding power of both parents is averaged, determining the egg’s power.
It should go something like this:
- Floor((Parent1Power + Parent2Power + 1) / 2) = Baby Power
Basically, you add both of the parent’s power and 1. Then, divide that result in half and round it down to the nearest whole number to get the Baby Power. From there, the game will pick up the Pal with the closest power to that average. The tie-breaker comes down to which Pal comes first in Palworld’s index. This means you won’t be able to breed a Pal that’s rarer/stronger than your rarest/strongest parent.
Determining the Pal’s Gender in Palworld
The gender doesn’t matter as long as you have one male and one female to kickstart the breeding process. However, the odds of the resulting Pal being a female or male differs between some Pals. All Pals have a 50% chance to be male or female, except for the following:

How to Use the Palworld Breeding Calculator
The Palworld Breeding Calculator tool can check what Pal you’ll get by combining two specific Pals (Parent 1 + Parent 2). By selecting two parents, you can see the result based on the two parents in your Breeding Farm. You can check out Palworld.gg’s tool here.
If you’re gunning for that exact Pal Fusion—specifically the ones you can only get from breeding—you can use this calculator to help you there. You can sift through potential combinations until you find the Pal you’re trying to get by adding Pals to the parent boxes and checking the result.
Eggs can be found in the wild, but instead of searching for them, you can simply try to hatch an egg—provided you have the Breeding Farm unlocked via the Technology tree. This can save you hours, especially if the Pal you want is in an area you’ve yet to visit.
