How Many People Play TF2 in 2026?
About Team Fortress 2
Team Fortress 2 is Valve’s team-based shooter game. As the 2 suggests, it’s a sequel of a Quake mod, Team Fortress, and its remake, Team Fortress Classic. Players pick a character to play as, each with varying abilities and stats, and attempt to wipe out the enemy team. The game has various modes to keep things exciting. The game was released in 2007 and enjoyed a consistent player base. Around October 2020, though, it received a sharp spike in player activity due to the prevailing lockdowns of the pandemic. Since then, the player count hasn’t returned to its usual numbers, but they aren’t as high as the mentioned spike. For the latest figure, we’ve compiled recent data.
