Halo Infinite is a massive dream project for 343 Industries, but creative differences within the team spelled a number of issues that necessitated a full year of improvements and hierarchical team changes. The promised co-op mode didn't survive the ordeal, ultimately being shelved later on. For all its fumbles, however, the multiplayer remains highly playable, being completely free-to-play (a first in the series' history) and the game enjoyed a significant graphics overhaul, with players finally saying goodbye to the pre-release fan-favorite character, Craig The Brute.
