How to get Lego skins in Fortnite

Fortnite: How to Get Lego Skins for Free

While you already have access to the skins from the battle royale that has the style for free, it’s always nice to have a new cosmetic in your collection—especially if it costs nothing. That’s right, you can get a free Lego Insiders skin to celebrate the collaboration's launch! Specifically, you’ll get the Explorer Emilie skin. To get it, you have to do the following:

• Sign in or sign up for Lego Insiders.
• Go to Epic Games’ official website and try to sign in, where you’ll be prompted with different options for accessing your account.
• Choose the Lego Insiders option by clicking the Lego symbol.
• Enter the email and password linked to the account you play Fortnite with to link your Lego Insiders account.

Once you’ve done these steps, you should automatically get the free Explorer Emilie skin for free, so make sure to check your Locker after. If you’re unsure whether you successfully linked your Epic and Lego Insiders account, you can check it on the ‘Account’ option on the Epic Games home page. Then, select ‘Apps and Accounts’ from the list on the left. Your Lego Insiders account is successfully linked if you see your username on the Lego symbol and the option to unlink the connection should you wish to do so.

How to Use Lego Skins in Fortnite

Remember that you can’t use the Lego styles/skins in other Fortnite modes, such as Zero Build and Battle Royale. The styles only apply in Lego Fortnite mode, where you’re given a large, procedurally generated map to explore. Epic has stated that it’s 19x bigger than the battle royale’s island, which also just got a refresh for Chapter 5 Season 1. You can play in survival, where baddies like skeletons and werewolves emerge. You’ll also have to worry about stuff like extreme heat and hunger. However, if you want a tamer experience, the creative mode always lets you build whatever you like.
