Throne and Liberty Longbow Build Guide

Throne And Liberty Longbow

The Longbow is one of the best weapon types in Throne and Liberty in terms of range and damage output. When using the Longbow, you’ll need to stay in one spot and deal as much damage as possible before finding a new position. This weapon deals more damage the farther you are from your target. Whether it’s PvP or PvE, the Longbow is a damage dealer. Here’s a build guide for those looking to make the Longbow their main weapon in Throne and Liberty.

Attributes

To begin, you’ll need to take a look at your Star-born’s Attributes. For this Longbow build, you’ll need Perception, Dexterity, Strength, and Wisdom. You’ll need to focus your Stat Point on Dexterity so you can gain bonus damage, as well as Perception for better damage and range when facing opponents. After that, you can now put your Stat Points into Strength to get maximum health and then Wisdom to help you in mana regeneration.

Here’s how to use your Stat Point on your Attributes:

Perception

  • Stat Points: 30
  • Effects: Improves accuracy, provides crowd control effects, time boost ability, and maximum damage.

Dexterity

  • Stat Points: 30
  • Effects: Improves critical attacks, maximum damage, improves evasion.

Wisdom

  • Stat Points: 19
  • Effects: Determines max mana, mana regeneration, improves skill cooldown and maximum damage.

Strength

  • Stat Points: 10
  • Effects: Provides max health, provides max damage, and increases defense.

Weapons

In Throne and Liberty, the skills you can use and equip. As mentioned before, you’ll need to stay in one position at a range to get the best damage output from your Longbow. In PvE situations it’ll be easy to stay stationary to deal damage, but that’s another story if you’re going to use the Longbow for PvP.

For you to utilize the damage outputs for the Longbow, your off-hand weapon for this build will be Daggers. With quick attacks and abilities, you can become a force to be reckoned with. Not only will you have ranged attacks covered, if your opponent gets too close for comfort you can switch and use your Daggers and hit them with burst attacks and finish them off. The Daggers complement the Longbow well due to their mobility giving you quick escapes and strafing movement.

Weapon Mastery

The Weapon Mastery system gives you experience when using your weapon. When you start your journey in the game, your Weapon Mastery points will be limited, but as you continue to progress by killing enemies and completing quests, you’ll start to earn plenty more. When using your main hand weapon, you’ll increase its weapon mastery as well. This also applies to your off-hand weapon, but it won’t increase as much.

For your Longbow build you’ll need to allocate 9 points to your Sniping for a boost in damage and critical damage. Then you can allocate 6 points into Check.

Here are the selections you unlock when allocating your Weapon Mastery points on your Longbow:

Check

  • Ranged Hit Chance
  • Move Speed

  • Pointy Throne

For your Daggers you’ll need to allocate 9 points for Assassination for extra critical damage, attack speed, and off-hand weapon activation rate. Then allocate 6 points into Poison for more off-hand chance and flat damage.

Here are the selections you unlock when allocating your Weapon Mastery points on your Daggers:

Rotation

The Rotation of the Longbow build will be about dealing the most damage and getting buffs from skills at the start.

To start the rotation for PvP and PvE you’ll first use Inject Venom, making the next skills you use have poison. Use Arrow Vortex on the enemy and follow it up with Flash Arrow for a quick burst. When the enemy is crowd controlled you can reset your skills using Blitz.

If you stumble on another stack of enemies, you can use Flash Arrow and follow up with Brutal Arrow along with Decisive Sniping to clear the enemies.

You can use Camouflage Cloak as your escape route. You can activate it when targeted or if you need to change your position. Camouflage Cloak can also help you reset after getting a kill and need to cooldown your skills. Use Phantom Smokescreen to protect yourself from enemy damage or attacks.

When you’re facing opponents or enemies that are out of position or trying to engage with your group, use Ensnaring Arrow and follow it up with Strafing and Zephyr’s Nock.

Guardian

Guardians are like your super ability that give powerful effects and a long cooldown. When picking a Guardian, you’ll need to choose one that enhances your strength or covers your weaknesses. To acquire a Guardian, you’ll need to reach level 25 and complete Chapter 25. The skills Guardian provides can only be used sparingly, so only use them when absolutely needed.

The best Guardian for the Longbow Build is Lady Knight Kamarshea. This Guardian provides the user with the Eternal Barrier skill that creates a defensive shield that helps the user’s survivability. As long as the shield is present the cooldown speed on the user’s abilities will increase by 40%.
