The Reptilian Butcher is one of those field bosses in Throne and Liberty that players want to farm as much as possible for the valuable materials dropped. Still, he can only be accessed on Saurodoma Island, which is challenging to get to. Not only that, but summoning him can take quite a bit of effort because of the ritual requirements, so you’ll need to be quick and precise when farming suitable materials. Don’t worry though. This guide will show gamers how to reach the desired location and summon the Reptilian Butcher in a pinch.
Throne and Liberty Reptilian Butcher Overview
Throne and Liberty features a lot of elite enemies that can drop tons of valuable items in the game. These include crafting materials or even potent healing consumables. The Reptilian Butcher is no different. This mini-boss can be summoned on Saurodoma Island and yields some nice drops from his loot table. We advise players to take this enemy on with a group or guild because taking him on solo will take a while. It’s also easier to work with other players when collecting the necessary materials to perform the ritual to call him forth onto the field.
How to Reach Saurodoma Island
It would help to travel to Saurodoma Island first before you even decide to approach and farm the Reptilian Butcher for drops. If you haven’t unlocked the waypoint already, the only way to get to the island is via the Gigantrite Whale. The giant creature follows a different route each time it spawns, but all these paths will have a stop at the island. Once you arrive at Saurodoma, you can look for the waypoint.
You can also try swimming to the island using swimming morphs. However, this option takes longer, especially if you don’t have a good dive aquatic transformation. If you do decide to go with this option, the best place to start your swim towards Saurodoma is from Daybreak Shore.
How to Summon the Reptilian Butcher
Players can summon the Reptilian Butcher during a ritual using a Thick Reptilian Tail. You can get one by farming Thin Reptilian Tails — all dropped by Lizard-like enemies scattered throughout the island. You’ll need at least 20 before bringing them to Braziers of Resurrection to enact the ritual. However, the tricky part is that these items decay quickly, so you’ll need to collect all the necessary parts as fast as you can.
Upon collecting the target number of pieces, the 20 Thin Reptilian Tails will automatically turn into a Thick Reptilian Trail. The best way to farm these drops without them decaying is to work in a party. While the group slays all the Lizard creatures in the vicinity, only one person will collect the drops from the corpses so that they can easily stack the 20 pieces. This is the most efficient way because you don’t have to waste time trading the tails with one another.
Where to Look for Braziers of Resurrection
You can find multiple Braziers of Resurrection scattered throughout the island. Just explore the area, and you’re bound to see at least one. Having several Braziers allows various parties to summon the Reptilian Butcher simultaneously.
