In MMORPGs, Guilds are the social feature of the game where players can interact with others and help each other in raids, dungeons, and quests. Throne and Liberty is no different, with Guilds banding players together to participate in various events and scheduled activities. Here’s a guide on how Guilds work in Throne and Liberty to help you get a better understanding of their inner workings.

What Are Guilds
As mentioned, Guilds are a social feature in Throne and Liberty, where players can join and participate in activities with other players or friends to complete objectives, quests, and raids. Guilds provide players with access to exclusive content such as Riftstone Wars, Boonstone Wars, Castle Siege, Tax Delivery Event, and Cross-Server Wars. Guilds are meant for players to progress faster in the game and experience large scale PvP activities.
How To Join Guilds
While joining a Guild isn’t necessary, they’re your best bet to fully experiencing exclusive activities and rewards in the game. Joining a Guild is easy peasy, but there’s just a few requirements before you can become a part of them. First you’ll need to reach level 8 and complete the Appendix Quest “A Mutually Beneficial Meeting.” Once that’s out of the way, you'll have access to the Guild System, where you can join, search, and create a Guild.
To access the Guild Menu, just press G on your keyboard. There’ll be two tabs to choose from, pick “Join Guild.” The menu will show you a list of all the Guilds and their info which includes their level and size. Once you find a Guild you like, click “Request” and wait for the Guild to approve your request.
How To Create Guilds
Creating the Guild is the same process as joining one. Again, you’ll need to reach level 8 and complete the Appendix Quest to unlock the Guild System. Once you’ve finished the needed requirements, you can now go to the Guild Menu and click on the “Create Guild” tab. The Guild Menu will lead you to the Guild Emblem customization area, where you can design your own. After completing the Guild’s emblem, you can now proceed to name your Guild, and then, pay 30,000 Sollant to finalize the Guild Creation process.
A Guild can have a maximum of 70 members. The Leaders of the Guild can recruit members by sending them invites through the Invitation List. An alternative way the Guild can recruit is through setting permissions on how you want players to join the Guild, since when you create a Guild, it’ll automatically be visible for other players scrolling through the Guild Menu. There are 4 types of permissions the Guild Leaders can set which are: Approval, which requires the approval of Guild Leaders to be accepted; Instant, where any player who applies for the Guild will be accepted; Auto-Decline, which will reject any applicant; and Password, where players will have to enter a password to enter the Guild.
Players who don’t like their Guild or have lost interest in participating in Guild activities can easily leave their Guild via the Guild Settings tab with “Leave Guild.” For Guild Leaders, you’ll have the option of disbanding the Guild, which will kick out all members and dissolve the whole Guild. There will be a 10-minute wait time before the disbandment takes effect, just in case the Guild Leader changes their mind.
All Guild Features
Joining a Guild will let players have access to many features that will help them progress in Throne and Liberty.
Guild Contracts
A Guild will have access to 3 Guild Contracts and each one will require the Guild to complete certain objectives. When a Guild completes a contract, they’ll receive Guild EXP and Sollant. The Guild can reroll for each type of contract up to 20 times, using the Guild’s Sollant bank. There are three types of Guild Contracts: Territory Mobs, Dynamic Event, and Open World Dungeon. Dynamic Event and Open World Dungeon will be unlocked when the Guild reaches level 2 and 3 respectively. The Territory Mobs Guild contracts will refresh when completed, for Dynamic Event and Open World Dungeon they usually reset daily.
For every one percent you contribute to the completion of a Guild Contract, you’ll receive additional rewards such as Guild Coins, Restoration Coins, Guild Reputation and Activity Points. There is also a chance for you to acquire a Mystic Key based on the total contribution. The Guild will acquire the items and materials listed in the contract, as well as Guild EXP and the members will acquire Guild Coins.
Item Distribution
As mentioned, when Guild Contracts are completed, the items and materials will be acquired by the Guild, but it can be distributed amongst the members via the Item Distribution system ad sent out to members via Guild Chests. The Guild can also choose to sell its loot amongst its members through a Member Sale. The Guild can set the items at a Fixed Price, which allows members to purchase items at a set price; Auction, where the highest bidder will win; and Item Transfer, which will allow the items to be sent to the member.
Donation Count
When you join a Guild, you can contribute to the Guild’s resources through the Donation Count System. The donation system will refresh every hour. When you donate regularly, you can receive Guild Coins, Reputation, and Activity Points daily. The Guild can mark a specific resource with a thumbs up icon to show what items they need. Those resources will then become Recommended Donations, to show the members what resources to focus on when donating.
Guild EXP and Guild Ranking
The activities you do with the Guild will contribute to your Guild XP and Ranking. When the Guild completes Guild Bosses, Guild Donations, Guild Contracts, and Dynamic Events, members will earn Guild EXP. High tier Guild Contracts will give 60,000 EXP per member and defeating a level 17 Guild Boss will grant members 65,000 EXP per kill. Guild Rankings depend on the Guild Activity Points and the Activity Ranking of individual members. Meaning that participating in events and defeating Guild Bosses will raise the rank of the Guild.
Occupation
When it’s time to play Riftstone War or Boonstone War, the Guild will need to make a declaration. The Guild Leader and Advisors will declare through the Occupation Tab in the Guild Menu. The Guild Leader and Advisors will need to declare which boss they want to fight within the 12 –36 hours before the scheduled time of the war. They’ll also need to purchase a Guild Flag. Once the Guild has declared, the system will select which Guild amongst all the others is the highest rank to face the war. The Guild can choose up to three candidates to declare on. To participate in Riftstone War, the Guild will need to be level 5 and for Boonstone War the Guild needs to be level 10.
Guild Coin Merchant
As mentioned, when you and your Guild complete a Guild Contract you can earn Guild Coins. You can use those coins atthe Guild Coin Merchant, where members can buy potions, scrolls, crystals and other items. The best items to get are Trait Conversion Stones and the Rare Special Weapon Selection Chest.

Guild Base
There are two Guild Bases across the map: Vienta Village Guild Base and Stonegard Castle Legion Base.
To have access to the Guild Bases you’ll need to complete the quest where you defeat Vampire Leonardas and turn Sophia back to her usual self in Chapter 5. Once you’ve done that, report to Jacque Hander, which will unlock the About Guilds Appendix Quest, where Sophia will introduce you to Soleil the Guild Merchant. Soleil will inform you about the Guild Features and give you directions to access the Guild Base. After talking to Soleil, you will unlock a quest where you enter the Guild Base, which will permanently unlock the feature that will allow you to use the Guild Base Teleport Scroll to visit.
