Final Fantasy XIV – this critically acclaimed MMORPG, which brings many of the franchise’s elements into an MMO format, is Square Enix’s latest foray into the genre. Bioshock – this first-person shooter, which was produced by 2k Games, was released back in 2007. This critically acclaimed sci-fi themed shooter is centered around Jack, a pilot whose plane crashes in the ocean near the bathysphere terminus; this causes him to accidentally discover the underwater city of Rapture. The city, built by business mogul Andrew Ryan, was supposed to be a utopia that was separate from the rest of the world; but unfortunately, ADAM, a genetic material that can give people superhuman abilities, led to the city’s degradation, as well as the rise of mutants that are hungry for ADAM. To save his own life, Jack must escape the city, fight ADAM-obsessed deviants, and uncover the truth behind everything surrounding Rapture.
The Witcher III – the third installment of The Witcher franchise, which is based on the series of novels by Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski, is hailed as one of the best games of 2015, as it was branded as the Game of The Year by different publications, critics, and award-giving bodies, and also won many other awards. The game picks up from where Geralt of Rivia, a monster hunter that’s called a witcher, who is on a journey across the Northern Kingdoms, as he protects the land from an impending change for the worse.
